the backwards lyrics fit Riku well so... was this on Purpose?

 

It most definately was, because the exact same applies to both "Simple and Clean" and "Sanctuary".

If you guys thought THAT was weird, try playing the English "Simple and Clean" in sinc with the Japenese version. I actually discovered this myself, and it wasn't easy to get 2 songs to play at the exact same time either, but I got it perfect.
