Age of Dragons

"Are you sure?" Kaden asked, sitting up. Looking around, she said, "If I piled my armor down the middle of the bed, it should give enough room for both of us on each side. When was the last time you actually slept in a bed?"

 

"I've not slept in a bed for a while, I can manage on the floor", Rain replied as he set up sheets at the foot of the bed on the floor.

 

She smiled. I'll show you. She grabbed Mark's arm and leads him to a balcony ouside and pointed at the sky. Every 4 years, a shooting star passes by here. It's said that whoever sees it fly by will have good fortune upon him. She stared at all of the stars in the sky. Aren't the stars beautiful tonight?

 

Mark looked around, "yeah, they are, I normaly don't like cities because I can't see the stars there, but here I can see them perfectly," he said.

 

Yea. Hey there it is! She pointed
at a shooting star passing by.

 

John kept walking until he reached his room. There, he saw Chi shivering, trying to keep warm. He walked up and put his arms around her, looking out at the scenery. Something caught his eye in the sky. "Chi, look!" he said. "A shooting star!"

 

"Alright," Kaden said. She looked out the window in the room, the one source of light, and was silent for several minutes. Then she sighed and said, "You saved my life Rain. Thank you...I'm in your debt."

 

Sora did the same starving as ever.

Chi heard someone coming into the house she walked down stairs to see sora and vento pigging out."Those two must've been hungry she said to John.

 

"Do not thank me. If you died I would not be able to gain a penny from this job", Rain stated somewhat coldly. He had not forgotten about what he was promised as payment.

 

"Ha, you know that's not true. You could kill me right now and still get paid for the job if you could complete it alone. You know which kids need to die, and as soon as the word's out that they're dead, the employer would find you and you'd get paid," Kaden shot back.

 

"I do not know the employer and there fore have no contract, you on the other hand", Rain replied as he finished setting up his soon to be resting spot.

 

"He'd find you, contact or not, after those kids are dead. Believe me. In all the years I've known him, only one of his bounties has ever escaped," Kaden said.

OOC: I may or may not be on for the next two days, going on a college visit and I don't know if I'll have internet.

 

Chi looked up and sat up. She rested her head on his shoulder."Make a wish John!" she said excitely as she closed her eyes and made a wish. She snuggled up against him smiling.

 

John closed his eyes and made a wish, as well. "I wonder what it's gonna be like on the run," he said.

 

Chi shrugged."I don't know John, I just hope when it ends, we'll all be ok and alive." Chi softly said.

 

Mya looked at Mark. Don't you have any wishes to make Mark?

 

Mark turned to her, startled out of a daydream, "yeah, I just made them silently," he said, smiling at her.
Hwaje rolled over in his sleep again.

 

Oh. She shuffled a bit. I don't mean to be nosy or anything, but what did you wish about?

 

Mark sighed, and looked down at the ground, "to find out more about my past," he said, "I don't even know who my real parents were, if I have a sibling, all I know is my last name."

 

Mya smiled and grabbed his hand. You'll find out Mark. I'm sure of it. She closed her eyes.
