Age of Dragons

Mark nodded, "the most memorable wrongdoings of our lives never vanish, their scars remain forever so that we can always know the lesson's we have learned," he said, removing his shirt so that Mya could see the long, red scar accrossed his chest, from hip to shoulder.

 

She went up close and examined his scar. I can't imagines which is worse. One big scar or a million small ones. She touched his scar.

 

Mark looked down at his scar, "that is from a burning hot blade, where a Fire nation guard slashed me after killing my foster mother, I was eleven when it happened," he said saddly.

 

My gosh. At 11? I can't believe that.

 

Kaden yelped in pain as he picked her up. "No idea...town changed since I was here..." she muttered. She looked up at him. Sharp whistle...will get Ravage's attention...medical supplies in his saddle..."
She was starting to feel tired, and her eyes started to close. Kaden fought to stay awake because she knew that if she fell asleep she was not likely to wake up, but it was becoming harder and harder to keep her eyes open.

 

Mark nodded solumly, "that is the type of crulety that is considered commonplace in the fire realms, the soldiers and officals of the king murder people everyday, or at least the lucky ones get murdered," he said.

 

Then I guess that we're both lucky to survive such horrors. She scratched her head.I should show you mine since you showed me yours. She pulled off her shirt showing millions of scars on her back.

 

Mark looked at the scars, "the work of fire nation slavers," he said, "you are very lucky even to be sane right now, let alone here, with a light dragon, if Shia hadn't found you, then you would probably be a dancing slave girl for one of the millions of corrupted govenors of the fire lands."

 

Dancing slave girl? Ugh. She shivered. I'd rather die than live like that. She pulled back on her shirt.

 

Mark looked at her, "you wouldn't want to die, they use hypnosis to make their slaves beleive that serving is fun for them, that they want to obey their masters to the fullest extent," he said, "all you can think of is obeying, and you become a mindless doll to them, until they are done with you."

 

She held her head. Can we please change subjects? This is starting to creep me out. She shivered.

 

Rain ran to the edge of town with Kaden. As he ran he attempted a whistle like she said but couldn't get much of a good one. Still, he continued running and was still quite quick regardless of carrying someone and managed to reach the dragons in a few minutes.
Rain put Kaden down next to Ravage and reached into the saddle for the medical supplies.

 

Mark nodded, "it's creepy stuff, just be glad you haven't expirienced it," he said, "so what do you want to talk about now?"

 

Ravage raised his massive head and growled at Rain. He saw that Kaden was injured, and sensed that if too much time passed she would die. He allowed Rain to get the supplies, but was growling the whole time. Hissing slightly, he rumbled, [COLOR="[COLOR="Navy"]"What did you do to her, pup?"[/COLOR]

 

She shuffled a bit. Well, how about your social life?

 

Mark looked at her, "my... socal life?" he asked, "I haven't had one since I met Hwaje."

Hwaje rolled over in his sleep again.

 

Rain ignored the dragon for a moment and applied the various medicines for stopping the blood from becoming infected and stopping it from gushing before applying a bandage to the wound itself. He stood up leaving Kaden sat next to Ravage when he finally decided to reply, "If I did anything, I wouldn't of brought her back".
Rain's dragon opened one eye to see what was going on and closed it again to resume it's rest.

 

Kaden was still out of it when Rain finished, and once he got up, she slumped over once more.
Ravage growled again. "You take responsibility for her then?" After a few moments passed, he added, "What happened in town?"

 

"She's not my responsibility when past jobs butterfly effects interfere", Rain stated walking over to his dragon and rummaging through one of the pouches attached to it's saddle.

 

Ravage growled savagely. "So what are you going to do then, leave her here and let her die? You may have bandaged her but that won't stop the bleeding. I can't go into town, and she can't stay here and expect to live," he thundered, and stood up to face Rain.
