Hwaje and John followed Mya and Shia to Mya's house, and Hwaje dived in for a landing, you don't think it could have been Mutatio venom, right? Hwaje sighlently asked Mark.
Mark shook his head, "I hope not," he said quietly so Chi wouldn't hear.

 

Mya walked inside. Poison? Hope not. She pulled on a sleeveless shirt. She looked at Shia and hugged her. I really should repay you in some way. Shia closed her eyes and growled.

Mark walked over to Mya, "So where did the attack happen?" he asked her, as Hwaje walked over, and laid down, his eyes looking around, as he sniffed the air.

BIC: Mya started to unwrap the bandage around her arm. Right after you left for the bounty hunters.

 

"There won't be any need", Rain replied. He decided to turn down the offer, but it gave him an insight onto how vast this female hunter is with her links and her funds. It was starting to seem like a small favour had landed in his hands, he could accompany this woman and if she goes to high places then Rain will then be recognised by them.

 

"OK, let's get you up on my dragon so you don't fall off," said John. "You still seem a bit tired." He hopped on top of Vento and reached out his hand for Chi.

Chi nodded, trying to balance. She squeezed harder and quickly placed her hand on vento."Kinda but I can't really move my legs I think they're demaged ." she said looking into his eyes.

 

"No problem," said John. He gripped Chi's hand and pulled her up on top of Vento, setting her right in front of him. "And don't worry about falling. I got ya." The closer John was to Chi, the more nervous he was getting. He had the ability to look calm, but on the inside he was shaking. Vento looked at Sora and put a disgusted look on his face, referring to John and Chi.

 

Sora rolled his eyes at the two teenagers. They like each other why hide it. Sora thought to himself.

Chi nodded her face was red."I feel safe, when I'm with you,John." She said to him like she meant it.

 

OOC: Where are you going anyway Mandy?

 

Mark looked closely at her wound, "it looks like it could possibly be poisoned, but I'm not sure, I'm going to have to see the arrow that shot you first," he said.

 

Alright. I threw it around here somewhere. Where did-There it is!'She picked up the arrow and gave it to Mark.

 

"Very well...but the offer will still stand throughout our journey. I hope you are fine with splitting our pay fifty-fifty, though," Kaden said.
As they were flying at a steady pace, she said, "Rain...just how fast can your dragon fly?"

 

"I have not measured it's speed in any numeric", Rain stated as he flew close by Kaden so they could remain in speaking range, "Although, I know it can go faster than my body can handle".

 

"Hm...go as fast as you can handle, I'll be able to keep up. If we keep heading in this direction, we'll come across a town soon. It's not big, but it has the essentials - an inn and a bar," Kaden replied.

 

Rain returned to being quiet again. He wouldn't mind the stop at the inn. It would give him time to breathe without his armour. In the company of the female bounty hunter he would be unable to do it often and decided he should take each chance he gets.

 

Vento nodded at Sora and thought,I agree, but it seems your rider just admitted it. Let's see if mine does the same.

John looked at Chi, a bit shocked. "O-oh. Thanks," he said, embarrassed. Score one for Johnny! he thought. "A-anyways... Let's get going." He turned and looked at Sora. "Just follow Vento." He turned back and leaned over and looked at Vento. "Ready, boy?"

Vento shot him a disappointed glance and turned around. He flapped his wings and took off towards John's home.

 

Mark looked at the arowhead closely, it had a red stain from where it had hit Mya. He was about to say that it didn't look like poison, until he noticed that there was a clear liquid coating it. "Umm... Mya, I'm not sure if this is poison or not, it could only be one type if it is though," he said, holding the arrow out to her.

 

"Huh, we're actually making pretty good time, I hadn't expected your dragon to be able to fly so quickly," Kaden said. Looking ahead, she saw the very faint glow of the town in the far distance. She looked back at Rain and said, "We may actually be there by dawn at this rate."

 

Mya scratched her head nervously. Well what does the poison do exactly?
