Age of Dragons Revamped Edition

alex struggled against the current, but couldn't hold strong. it was pulling her down stream and before she knew it, she was lifted out of the water by her shirt. alex flailed around in midair until she saw what lifted her up. it was the most magnificent dragon she had ever seen. it set her down on the bank before flying away.
"no! don't...go..."
the dragon was gone before she could finish her sentence. alex kicked a rock into the river as she followed the current south.

krios nuzzled olivia's back. she sighed. it was obvious olivia wasn't going to get to stick around for much longer. she climbed up on top of krios, getting ready to take off.

 

(OOC: sorry x.x my bad, i thought you were closer)

 

OOC: Don't know why she decided to break off from the group :/

BIC: Mya stroked her dragon's head. I don't know anymore. They keep throwing things at me that I want to keep hidden. If I told you all I was, you guys would kill me. Probably take me back as a fugitive. I live up to a bad reputation just for my name.

olivia silently fought with krios to stay a little longer. she wanted to hear what mya had to say.

alex looked around confused. she wasn't really sure what direction she came from and whether or not the battle was still going on, so she tried to walk in the direction the dragon flew off to. alex thought that if she could find it, things might make a little more sense.

 

OOC: All of a sudden, everyone left :/ BUMP

 

jon started preparing for a three-day trip. he knew it was going to be harder to get out this time since it would be for longer, but figured xane would let it slide since he was such a trusted adviser to the nobleman. he packed a small bag with supplies since he wouldn't be home and gathered up his maps and paperwork. rha snored outside the window.

 

Mya shook her head and looked back at the others. We won't be able to talk. We need to go somewhere safe first. Maybe like Water Region. They're a very friendly nation and won't know about me too much.

 

olivia nodded and got on krios. he wasn't too thrilled about sticking with these people, but abided by her command. she knew that this place was shrouded in mystery and wanted to stay, but felt the curiosity of this girls life was pulling much stronger.
"well i've never been to the water region. i guess now's as good as time as ever."

alex wandered through the woods trying to find her way back to the others. everything looked so different going the other way. all the trees seemed the same and no paths were familiar. the sun was setting and she was lost. alex felt like she'd lost everything; her family, her friends, the magnificent dragon, and now her way. she was lost and had absolutely no idea where to go.

 

Mya looked around and frowned. Alex was nowhere to be seen. She must've fled during the battle. She stroked Mai. Mai, you have the longest signal. Call her out and try detecting her. She nodded and sat up, closing her eyes and sending her message to a 5 mile radius. Alex...come out. Your friends are looking for you. ]

 

alex stopped and twirled around on her heel looking for the owner of the voice.
"who...who said that?"
she stood still trying not to move and looked around for a figure.

 

Mai spreaded her wings and flew towards her direction. It's me Mai. You're worrying everyone. I'm coming to get you.

 

OOC: Bump guys. Stop stalling and start posting :l

 

alex stood by the water waiting for mai to arrive. while alex waited she wondered if she would ever see that dragon again. it was the most beautiful dragon she had ever seen and she needed to thank it for saving her life. it had disappeared as soon as it set her down and now she felt remorse for not saying anything sooner.

 

After a few minutes, Mai flew down and landed next to her, motioning her to get on.

 

alex walked up to the dragon hesitantly and climbed on mai's back.
"we're going back to the others?"

jon finished packing his bag and went to bed for the night. the next morning he would take off and not return for a few days.

 

"I could probably find us a good place to talk one were there." Allen said.

 

Mai nods and toys back towards the others.

Mya taps her head. Once Mai comes back, we move. We need to get to the region before nightfall. The night guards are very picky and touchy.

 

alex stared at the back of mai's next, a little nervous to go back.
"where are we going once we meet up with the others?"
she didn't really care, but felt like she needed to say something at all before she broke down again.

 

Mai looked left. The water region. Mya will tell you more.

 

alex nodded trying to suppress the memories that were still very new to her. it was hard not to think about it, but every time she did it felt like more and more of who she was, was being ripped out of her.

olivia glanced up and saw the figure of a dragon overhead.
"there they are. they're back and look fine."
she smiled and climbed onto krios.
