Age of Dragons Revamped Edition

Rhian had finished her dinner an now had a huge grin on her face as they flew above the clouds, dipping up and down and generally just enjoying it. The wind her face made her feel so alive. Though her practical side came through and she leaned down to her dragon, 'Sorry, Avira, but we're running low on supplies. We're going to have to stop at a village or town to pick some stuff up. It shouldn't take long and we'll be back up before you know it'. Immediatly she felt her dragon's dissapointment but acceptance as they lowered in the sky. 'There's one there, you'd better stay outside and hidden though. I promise I won't be long.'

'Okay, just be careful and come back to me as soon as you can' Rhian heard Avira's voice in her head as they landed gently on the outskirts of the place.

"Of course, don't worry" She smiled as she jumped off her dragon and ran into town.

 

Akuto smiled at her "well its nice to meet you Alex, I'm Akuto Sai.... I'm not from this village at all" he said laughing a little bit, his deep purple eyes looked at her. He could see there was something going on with her, but he wasn't sure if he was the cause. He asked inquisitively "You're from the lightning village huh? Ive never been there"He was a bit scared when she said light...
Man....If she was from the light village, she might have been able to expose me right here and now.... then so much for cover
He kept walking with this nice new girl and saw a dragon up ahead, a rather small one by comparison to Peter Hausen, but sizable nontheless. "That's so strange dragons just walk around here.... are they always allowed to do that?"

 

OOC: Umm people, I forgot to mention this, but I prefer if people didn't mention the Light or Dark people. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM :P

I also love it how you all supposedly ignored my time consuming paragraph I left up there. Yay for ignorance :<

BIC: Xane opened the door and stared at Jon. Well morning Jon. There better be a good reason why you're disturbing me at this time. He walked back in and in a few moments he came back out in his attire.

Mya noticed that a commotion happened in this village. She sighed and walked up to Alex and Akuto. Excuse me you two, but you mind telling me what happened here earlier? What I heard was a commotion broke about around here if I'm right. She felt a strange aura from Akuto, but passed it off, not caring much.

 

OOC: Well, I can have my character not ever go to the dark region if you prefer?

BIC: Akuto turned quickly, "Oh, hey there, I'm not really sure what happened, I was just passing through town myself and was following my little friend here" he said with a smile. He saw something in Mya's eyes, he wasn't quite sure, but he didn't have a good feeling about it, his purple eyes darted around a little bit looking for anyone else but trying to be inconspicuous

 

{ooc: my character isn't from light or dark, they are from lightning, wind, and fire. smackdoodle's character is from dark. my character was just in the process of saying lightning when she went into her trance. which is why she corrected herself later on. i understood from the story line that there wouldn't be anyone from light or dark since the two nations were destroyed. which confused me when you allowed smack's character and dragon. ---ignored paragraph? do you mean your paragraph on mya? right before i posted?}

alex was drawn by the akuto's purple eyes. they were exquisite.
"it's nice to meet you. i'm not from here like i said, but in the lightning region we treasure the dragons, so it is quite common to see them roaming wherever they want. we are in their land, not the other way around. where are you-"
she was interrupted by a new girl that joined the conversatioin.
"umm....we aren't sure."
alex looked at the new girl. she was pretty of course, but there was this air to her. she couldn't quite place it.
"who are you?"

jon smiled as xane stepped outside. he clasped him on the back.
"it's about time you got out of bed. i need a pass to leave the region. i have some business to attend to. i know security is going to be going up soon. which is saying a lot since we already have such high security around the area."
he glanced over at his dragon.
jon, you know this guy makes me unease. i really don't like him. rha, you need to relax.
jon looked back at xane.

 

Akuto laughed nervously, glad that Mya's interruption had stopped the question of his origin from being asked, he blinked and looked away seeing other dragons around. "Im not exactly sure who or what's happening, but we can all go look together if you want" he suggested.

 

Rhian moved through town quickly, stopping off at certain shops to make sure she got all the the suplies she needed. As she moved clutching the stuff she had bought she tried to work out if she'd got everything as she knew it was likely she'd forgot something and it would be a lot better if she remembered before she left. She weaved between the people, trying not to drop her stuff.

 

alex smiled.
"that sounds like a good plan to me."
she looked at the woman waiting for an answer, to both questions.

 

ooc: sorry, sorry, yes, Cloud is meeting Olivia...she's not a social dragon.

 

OOC: Ack forget what I said :P

BIC: Mya smiled at them, but it was slightly held back as if she preferred to not get involved. Yes I would love to go with you guys. The name is Mya by the way. Well you should know since I'm ALL over the place. She quickly tore down a poster with her face on it that was placed on the wall. Sorry about that. I really don't like being famous. Makes me more friends and enemies.

Xane grinned and patted his shoulders. Of course. Anything my friend. He handed him a block of wood that was colored red and had a black dragon drawing on it-the symbol of the Fire King. Just don't stay long alright? He looked across the fiery scorched land all around him with wild dragons flying about. Anything else you need? Money? Supplies?

alex watched mya rip down the poster. she hadn't noticed it until that moment. she did match the face in the photo, but alex had never seen her picture before. it was probably do to the fact that she lived in a very small village in a different region.
"i'm alex. i'm from the lightning region. my village is a rather small one so we don't really keep up to date on celebrities. sorry."
she shrugged her shoulders and started walking into the town.

jon stood there for a moment thinking and then looked at xane to respond.
"no i don't think i should need anything, but that pass. it shouldn't take too long. i shall return before nightfall. i just need to check on some things and possibly tie up some loose ends."
he reached out to take the plank with the insignia on it.

olivia looked at the sudden dragon in awe.
"you are absolutely gorgeous. it's not everyday a rogue dragon comes up to me so casually."
she reached out to pet the beast, noticing it had been sniffing her.
"what are you smelling?"
olivia was curious. typically dragons couldn't talk. they only had a psychic connection with their master. that connection didn't form either, until the two had been companions for a decent amount of time. when it was proven that the two would cooperate with one another.

 

Mya shrugged and followed her. Its better if you didn't know me. I don't want people following me around. As she walked, people were already staring at Mya passing by.

Xane nodded. I see. Well report back to me after you're done. Understand?

 

alex looked back at her confused by the statement.
"okay then?"
she then turned back around and continued to lead the way.

jon nodded his head at xane.
"understood."
he then climbed on the back of rha and the two of them took off towards the border.

 

Akuto followed behind the two girls, contemplating what made this girl so strange to him. He looked up at the sky watching dragons flying over head, it still made him nervous, though they were a lot smaller than his own dragon, he knew he'd be greatly out numbered if something went wrong. "Hey, I have one last question... why does nobody here seem to be even the least bit afraid of the dragons?" he wondered.

 

That's easy. Currently, we are in the Earth region right? The Earth dragons are very friendly. They don't attack unless provoked. It's extremely rare to see an aggressive dragon out here. Mya plucked a piece of bread from a stall and nibbled on it, paying the vendor.

Xane watched him fly off and then walked back into his room. Guess I was treating him TOO nice. Doesn't matter. It won't be long until my plan succeeds.

 

"Hmm... It's just so odd. Where I lived, dragons were feared creatures and few people could control them much less survive seeing one, but I assume thats just ancient dragons. He felt his energy flaring up and closed his eyes quickly, fearing they were turning red. There was something wrong nearby, he could feel it, but before he could find out he put his hand on Alex's shoulder. "I.. I'm sorry, I think something just blew into my eyes, I'm not really used to the blowing sand in these earth villages" he said with a half laugh, her shoulder was cool to his touch, was she cold? or was he burning up... He couldn't tell.

 

Mya frowned as he acted strangely. She could already suspect he wasn't around from here. Also had that moment when he flared up and stuff. His aura went extremely high. You talk like an old person. Mentioning back in the days and stuff. And dragons have been pretty docile for the past 2000 years. If what you say is true, there is only one region that houses aggressive dragons...if you know what I mean.

 

Rhian slowed down as she moved, still being careful to not drop her stuff. She'd got almost everything now and for the first time she actually became aware of her surroundings. It was strange so many dragons just walking round the streets, she'd heard dragons here were tamer but she didn't realise to this extent. She frowned, it was more than that though, there seemed to be an event on, a parade. She shook her head, the idea of parading dragons was totally new to her. She weaved through the crowd, trying to stay out of people's way and get a closer look at the parade.

 

Akuto felt his eyes return to mornal and turned to Mya, "Hey! im only 18 im not that old!" he said a bit offended, but he did see how he almost slipped up. He was the descendant of a demonic blood line, but could this strange girl sense that? He wasn't sure but didn't want to test her on it. "What's odd to me is this place has small dragons compared to what i've seen... can dragons here communicate with their masters?"

 

Mya giggled at his remark. I know. Dragons here tend to grow slowly. That's why they look small. They have half the growth rate of an average dragon. Dragons can communicate with their masters...if your bond is strong with them. As the headed to the main city, there were more rich looking people and dragons. Some of them shooting glares at Mya.
