Age of Dragons Revamped Edition

Story- Dragons. Exotic creatures that roam the land of Aishia. Some are more popular than others. Some aren't. They were created to live alongside men and befirend them. That was not the case. The Fire region declared war and allied with the Dark region while the rest allied with the Light region and fought for 100 years. It collapsed. The Dark and Light regions were wiped off the land and were told to never be remembered again. The Fire region has been restricted to all people. Though the war is over, the motives are not. The Fire is planning. A plan that threatens the very land which people are oblivious to.


Geography- The land of Aishia is a giant island separated into 6 major regions (8 if counting light and dark). Here are the info you'll need.


Fire- A barren wasteland covered by molten rock and rainig fire. Population is a slim 250. The king rules with an iron fist. People caught entering or leaving are executed immediatly on the spot. The most aggressive dragons are found here. They have one of the highest attack power, but slower than the average dragon. They will attack anything on sight and brutally difficult to master. A non-friendly territory. Weak against water


Water- Called "The land of Serenity." Very peaceful and very calm land. Also romantic with calm oceans, smooth sand beaches, and homes built ontop of water. This is where many starter dragon trainers learn and tame their first dragon. Water dragons are very friendly and easy to handle, but aren't very aggressive unless met by a fire dragon. Friendly territory. Weak against lightning


Lightning- A town built on a mountain always raining and stormy. Very difficult to reach as flying is extremely risky. Lightning dragons are difficult to handle and neutral to humans. They make upfor their poor power with their agility. Fastest dragon after the extinction of Light dragons. Neutral land. Weak against earth


Earth- The land of the wealthy. This is where the most wealthy dragon trainers and nobles live. People are very snotty and rude to poor people. Many contests and arenas are held here for entertainment. Earth dragons are very powerful, but friendly and somewhat easy to handle. Friendly land. Weak against wind


Nature- The forest land. To surprise, they do not have a native dragon. It's basically a peaceful haven to dragons who want to rest. A mysterious temple lies in ruins in the middle of the forest. No one knows why. Natives here aren't very friendly though.


Wind- Not a good vacationing place. Winds are always blowing at high speeds. Meant for endurance training for dragons. Wind dragons are friendly, but hard to handle. Very tough, but that's about it. Weak against fire


Light- One of the ancient regions. Now all it lays is a smoldering ruin in the center of the island next to the remains of the Dark region. Light dragons are the fastest and uses it's speed to attack enemies by their weak spots. Weak against dark. Only 1 light dragon is known to be alive


Dark- The other ancient region. Dark dragons are brutally aggressive. The strength of 500000 earth and fire dragons combined. Only one os known to exist. Weak against light.


Dragon Info- Now that you learned a bit about them, here's more food for thought.


-They can speak to you telepathically

-You can RP as a dragon, but please ask me first

-None of the dragons are identical

-They can detect human emotions

-Have an intrest to human hair

-Heres a big thing. You can have hybrid dragons. HERE'S THE CATCH. If they are hit by an element they are weak to, they will take 4x the damage, not 2x. So choose your risks wisely.


Rules-

1. No godmod or PP (I might in some cases)

2. Keep everything in a PG-13 range

3. Only 3 OCs per char (You can make more if they die/go away)

4. I am strict to your ditching. It irritates me A LOT. if you do not post within 5 days, I will assume you ditched and kill your character unless notified. NO EXCUSES

5. Please try not to "take over" the RP. if you have ideas, please cofirm them to me first. I'd love to try to pot your ideas through.

6. Rules can and will be changed.

7. If you read everything so far, put "100" in your post.

OOC: Start!

BIC: After some loud knocking, a young lady, about the age of 20 peeked in. Mya! Wake up! The parade is starting! After that she closed the door.

The bed shuffled and Mya sat up, rubbing her eyes. She yawned and hopped out of bed, stretching and examining herself in the mirror. Her upper body and calfs were covered in bandages. She recovered most of the punishment, but not all. She sighed and headed over to a makeshift closet. She lived in a banged up shack by herself just outside the Earth town. She pulled out a dress that had a few cuts, but wearable and pulled it on. The other dress was torn and covered in blood. It was a memento of the horrible night. She stared at it and memories flashed through her mind of the crack of the whip, metal digging into flesh, and a torment of pain that-

The knock shook her out of her trance. Hurry up! We don't have all day! Mya quickly closed the closet. Coming! She grabbed a leather bag and ran out the door, meeting up with her friend. Seriously, do I have to wake you up every event that happens?

Mya smiled. Sorry. I'm trying not to oversleep. Her friend, Sasha, sighed as they both headed into town.

 

alex stopped at a river and stuck her hands in the water. it was cool and refreshing. she splashed the water on her face and tried to wipe away some of the dried blood. she didn't want to completely submerse herself in the water since she didn't have a change of clothes. alex decided to sit down of the edge of the riverbank and dip her feet into the water. it felt nice since she had been walking for hours with no map. her goal was the water region, but she had no clue how to get there. as she enjoyed the refreshing water, alex heard a rustling in the trees off to the east. she jumped up out of the water, defenseless.
"who's there?!"

jon rose from his cottage bed in the early morning. the raid the day before had taken a lot out of him. once he was up he went out to the large barn that housed rha. he smiled at his dragon and tossed him a large chunk of meat. rha caught it in his mouth and chewed on it silently. jon walked out into the courtyard looking around at the area. ever since xane had taken power, the nation hadn't been the same. he didn't agree with most of what was going on, but knew better than to bite the hand that fed him. xane wrote his paychecks and their families went a long way back. it wouldn't be right to disrupt the balance.

olivia and krios were out on an early morning flight. they zipped through the strong winds and bobbed in and out between the cliffs and trees. she always felt a rush of exhilaration when she went on rides with krios. they were a team and completely in sync. as olivia sailed above the city she saw the landscape. the cliffs looked all shades of oranges, reds, and pinks in the early morning light and there was a thin layer of fog adding a hazed tone to it.

 

Rhian smiled as she sat by her little fire, cooking her breakfast. She'd been up for a bit now and had already gone hunting. Her silver dragon layed curled up next to her, which twitched it's nose then lifted a weary head off the ground to look at her and the meat. "Hello, sleepy head. Thought that might wake you up, don't worry I made sure there's enough for the both of us." Her dragon, Avira nodded contentedly and rested their head back down, though kept it's eyes open. Rhian was optimistic about the days ahead, she'd just set out on her journey and there was no telling what she might find or the challenges she'd have to face. She was excited and couldn't wait to see what the world had to throw at her.

 

Cloud stretched her wings wide and snorted at the still falling rain. Living on a mountain in the Lightning region had grown boring to her. Humans....always so excited to see one of my kind. She lurched from her cave and glided easily in the rain. Rain pelted her wings and body and Cloud figured now was the day she'd assess the humans around town and in the Wind town to see if any of them had the guts and mind to be for her. Pumping her wings, she rocketed upwards and into the clouds. Joy filled Cloud's heart at the motions of flying and the touch of water in the clouds on her face.

BIC: At the stables, Sasha left for the market which Mya didn't mind. As she looked in the dragon stables, her dragon slept there with a few knocked out men. Everyone knew Mya due to her exotic dragon. Every day, robbers try to steal her dragon, which they fail. Mya smiled and petted its head. Hey Mai. Did they bother you? The dragon snored quietly as Mya continued petting it. It wasn't known to her that every day, a person keeps tabs on her...

 

alex stood there by the river shaking. she had nothing to defend herself and whatever was in the trees was getting closer. without giving it a second thought she just started running. running along the riverbank northbound, away from whatever was in the trees to the west. alex was lost and confused. she was desperate to find the water region. to train a dragon and have a friend, a companion, someone that would be with her forever and be a partner.

jon walked back to the barn and slid open the large doors so that rha could easily get out and stretch the barn was quite roomy, but it still wasn't the same as being out and enjoying the sunlight and going for a flight. jon watched rha walk out and smiled at his dragon. for all the evil in the world, the two of them never had problems. often times rha would just disappear for days, but jon never worried. he always came back.
rha swung the end of his tale down next to jon's feet for him to climb on. they lifted off and sailed over the fire region.

olivia and krios touched down on a large cliff in the wind region. they sat there comfortably enjoying the early morning and talking small talk. they made plans for what they were going to do that day and who they may go see. they sat there for awhile just watching the town and all their neighbors.

 

Akuto had fallen tired after hours of flight, "Is there really nothing going on down there?" he mumbled to himself as he looked down at the village, he had to lean very far past the center of Peter Hausen's back, since the dragon's wingspan covers about 50 meters.
Master, I see there's a commotion in the nearby village, I can't see what's going on though
"Hmm, you're right, some thing IS happening, It's an earth town, so I'm not sure how they will react to seeing you Peter Hausen, you're a tad big for a normal dragon" he said looking down at the small bustling town
I'll get you close enough you can walk to town, outskirts should be a short enough walk for you master
"Sounds like a good idea, Thank you" He squinted his eyes a bit as the wind blew his face upon descent toward the village

 

by the time alex stopped running she ended up just outside of a small village. there seemed to be a large amount of commotion. from what she could tell it was an earth village. alex approached the town cautiously. now wasn't the best time to be entering an unknown village filled with commotion, but she was tired and hungry.

jon and rha sailed all over the fire region. leaving the area without permission wasn't allowed. anyone caught doing so could be punished by death depending on the case. that was especially true during times of war. they touched down in a large open courtyard outside of a mansion-like house. it was obvious that the owner was quite wealthy. jon walked up towards the door. as he approached it he began shouting.
"xane! xane! get your ass down here! we need to talk! xane!"

olivia noticed something peculiar going on in the village she was from. she hopped on krios's back and they flew back down to her wind village. there was a fight going on in the street. apparently there was a disagreement at the local market. some boy was caught stealing, but was denying the truth.
"i did not take that chicken! how dare you say so!" "please, i saw your grubby little hands walk over and try to pilfer my chicken. you had been staring at it for the last ten minutes! if you didn't take it then who did?" "i don't know, but i wasn't even standing here when it went missing. you had your back turned!" "LIES!"
olivia walked over towards the fighting.
"excuse me! excuse me! what on earth is going on here?"
"oh, miss olivia! stop this boy. he was pilfering my chickens!" "i told you i was NOT! get your facts straight!"
she looked around assessing the scene, then she saw something that seemed to have solved everything. there was a stray dragon down the street and it had chicken feathers all around it. she turned to the shopkeeper.
"mr. numan, i think i know who your thief was."
olivia pointed off towards the dragon and everyone turned to stare.
"ha! i told you i didn't do it."
mr. numan sighed.
"yes boy i guess i owe you an apology. i'm sorry."
feeling accomplished, olivia walked past krios towards the park and he followed after her.

 

Akuto hopped off and closed his overcoat around himself, for an earth village it was pretty windy today, he tried to run to town as fast as he could, getting closer to the houses ahead

alex walked quickly and stared at her feet was she hurried towards the town. she hadn't been paying much attention until she walked into someone.
"oh! i am so sorry."
she looked up at the person she had walked into. he was an attractive older man. not old, but obviously older than her. there was something off about him. it was something mysterious.

olivia went home and began packing. she had never really seen much of the outer regions and wanted to explore. it was high time she got out of this crazy windy city and saw the sights of the world around her.

 

Akuto wasn't quite paying attention as he walked in town "Oh! im so sorry miss" he looked at the girl he had bumped into, "umm... Do you know your way around here?" he asked her nervously, he noticed a nervous look on her face and wondered if he had hurt her. "are you alright?"

 

alex looked at him surprised by the question.
"y-yeah, i'm fine, but i'm not from around here. i'm kind of lost. i just sort of ended up here a moment ago."

 

He laughed a little bit, "I just sort of wandered into town because I saw some commotion from the sk... when I was walking by" he said nervously to the girl

 

alex had a feeling he was going to say something else, but decided not to press the matter.
"so..um..do you wanna walk in with me?"
she looked at him hopefully.

 

"sure!" he said excitedly, he walked with her towards town, happy to finally have someone he could talk to here, "so, what's your name?" he asked curiously

 

Cloud circled the Wind town a few times before descending. A few people pointed up at her and others bolted towards home. Hmph, as if I would eat any of them...about as tasteful as a mouse....not to mention as filling as one. Cloud's golden eyes roamed over the people and caught on a young girl. She smelt like another dragon. Keeping herself retained in the posture of a proud dragon she slowly padded toward her, lowering her head to the girls and snuffled at her hair. Interesting creature....one who tames a dragon... Her head snapped up and a low growl rumbled from her throat.

 

Mya smiled and closed the stable doors, knowing Mai was safe and headed to a village. She decided to skip the parade. The rich people showing off their dragons disgusted her. Treating them like savage beings under their will. She hated every second of it. As she entered the village, the people gave her a smile. Back then, they would all bow down to her, but she didn't want to be treated as a high racked person. Only a friend. She smiled back and continued through the village. As she has friends, she also had enemies. Especially the rich citizens. They dispised her the day she came in practically dead. All the doctors refused to heal her since she had no money. She didn't blame them. The king ruled like a slob and it eventually was picked up by the nobles. The poor were castes away to the outskirts of the region. Mya continued chatting along with the people and even giving them a fine amount of money.

 

alex smiled at the man.
"my name is alex mactus. i'm from a village in the light..."
she stopped in a daze. images of the massacre came flooding back...her family...even some friends...they were gone. the ones that remained didn't want her to leave, but no one understood what she was going through. alex was alone. she was always alone, except for right now. she tried to focus on the guy in front of her, but all she saw was the image of the man from the fire region.
"the lightning region..."
alex continued to stand there lost in her own horrible memories.
