Do you mean other accounts you have on other sites or alternate accounts on KHV?

If you mean accounts on other sites, then yes. You can promote yourself and whatever you'd like on your signature space.

If you mean alternate accounts on KHV, then it's against the rules to have multiple accounts and they'd have to be terminated.

Second question my profile avatar won't upload. And it's a GIF image file. It works fine on other websites but not this one..o_O

 

If the gif you're trying to upload is too big, it should give you a pop-up (I think the limit for avis is 235kB or some such). What're the dimensions of the gif?

 

It is 355 by 200 and it is 33.4 KB.

Really? Because my current image is 600 x 848 and I just tried uploading my GIF at 200 x 113 and it didn't work out too well. Maybe I should stop trying since the FAQ said they weren't too sure on GIFS.

 

Just upload a 200 x 200 image.

The maximum size of your avatar is 200x200. It can be smaller if you want, but anything bigger gets resized automatically (this tends to lower the quality though).

With a gif, I think resizing would mess with the animation. If you really want to use it, you could make a thread asking someone to resize it manually.

 

Our GIF support in avatars is shaky. Even if your size is below 200px by 200px, it still might not work. Static images work best and will automatically resize to fit.
