Square-Enix Aeris or Aerith?

oh, okay. I'll stop spamming it up zen.

 

IDK but i just like aeris more for some reason it just sounds more fit for the game...not for her in KH tho its like its weird for me i like aerith and aeris but aeris just sounds more like her i guess 0_0

Aerith because every time I heard someone say Aeris, I kept thinking they said heir's or something.
I guess I'm the only one that got it confused <_<

Arieth is better in my opinion. 8D And sounds nicer than Aeris too.

Aerith was her name in FF7, the Japanese version. However, in the English version, her name was Aeris. In Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts it was switched to Aerith in the English versions. I like Aerith better. I just think it sounds prettier to me for some reason.

Er... officially, her name is Aerith, even in the original FFVII; look at her character art, it's written "AERITH"...

(http://www.adellacosplay.com/images/uploads/aeris-ff7.jpg) Also, in the Debug Room, it's Earith. (Yeah, the debug room has some glitchy mistranslations like "Ballet" for "Barret", but most of them are fine, like "Yufi" for "Yuffie", things like that.)

They just mistranslated it as Aeris 'cause Japanese doesn't have the "-th" sound. I think Aeris sounds a bit prettier, to be honest, but I'm used to saying Aerith now, and I think it looks prettier. So, yeah... Aerith.
