vance lead the way through town back to the small house.

 

Ren and Cloud entered

 

vance and rose followed after them.

rose looked at them confused.
"what's going on?"

 

Cloud was first to answer. "Sephiroth attacked."

 

rose looked at him as if he insulted her intelligence.
"i know that much. but i mean why was everyone rushing back here?"
her gaze then shifted to ren.
"how dare you disappear on me."
rose scolded him.

vance grabbed rose.
"calm down. the situation at camp got worse and the only way to keep ourselves alive was to run back here."

 

Cloud nodded. "pretty much."

 

rose was still slightly confused but she waved it off.
"well then, do you want some dinner? there's still some stew left over."
she looked between vance and cloud.

vance smiled.
"i would love some."
he gave her a kiss on the cheek and then walked into the kitchen.

 

Cloud smiled. "i could eat."

 

rose walked into the kitchen to heat up the stew.
she then went out into the living room to continue what she started before she went chasing after ren.

vance grabbed two bowls out of the cupboard, one for him and one for cloud.

 

Cloud took a bowl

 

rose made a bed on the couch and then walked into the bedroom.

"cloud, what are we going to do about llednar."
vance spoke quietly while they ate so ren wouldn't hear.

 

Cloud sighed. "depends.... what would we do to Sephiroth?"
Ren noticed them whispering but couldn't hear them.

 

rose went to sit on the windowsill in the bedroom.
it's nice having him home but it's as if he really isn't here.

vance's expression became filled with anger.
he yelled in a hushed tone.
"we can't do that to him. he's not doing what sephiroth wants by choice. he has no free will over the matter."

 

"you know as well as i do.... if we don't kill him..... he'll kill us." Cloud whispered

 

vance sat there continuing to eat.
sadness had filled his eyes.
"he...was a good man..."

 

Cloud nodded and ate. "it's a shame...."

 

when vance finished eating he put his dishes into the sink and then walked into the other room to speak with ren.
"hey kid, you can sleep on that couch there. i'll get more sheets for cloud."
vance walked into the bedroom to find rose sitting on the windowsill.

 

"okay." Ren had his blade out, looking at Sephiroth's blood on it

vance walked up alongside rose.
"you don't always sit here do you?"

rose turned to look at him.
"pretty much."
she stepped down to hug vance.
"i'm really glad you're home, even if it'll only be one night."

he smiled and then kissed the top of her head.
"well i gotta go bring some more sheets out there, i'll be back in here in a little bit."
vance turned to the closet and grabbed the rest of the spare sheets and a pillow to bring out to cloud.

 

OOC: bye. i won't be here for a week. you can control Ren, Cloud, and Sephiroth if you can handle it.
BIC: Ren suddenly fell to the floor, clutching his chest
OOC: he's having a heart attack.
