Just to let you guys know... I'm the dude who does most, if not all of the tech work on the site. Keeping the tables repaired/optimized, backing up the database, editing PHP Files, etc. In other words... meaning doing everything in my power to keep the server from crashing every two seconds. It's often an annoying job since this server is very... very cheap. But don't get me wrong... I don't mind banning a few trolls, changing names, or saying 'hi' to anyone who wants to talk. =]

I'm also working on some future projects, which I'll tell you about hopefully fairly soon. The more spdude gives me his cooraporation, the more I can get done.

You're all incompetant, probably only 2 of you actually do any work for the benefit of the forum, and I would say 2 others are at the very least a necessary presence for other reasons, so you've got 4 people running a website with 1,000 unique members logging in and posting every day, which is a cluster****. Most similar websites have anywhere from 20-30 volunteers simply as a system of checks and balances making sure you have people available to do work when others can't. Basically, you all suck ass.

 

I didn't want to post in this thread because my aim wasn't for this to be a thread about staff justifying themselves, but I do just want to say:

I do that too.

You are fantastic at the site stuff and I have never denied that, and I think you are very much underapreciated, but I just wanted to clear that up.

 

Okay okay, no offense to anyone, but Im just gonna say what I think is true. :v

As far as Im aware the coders to an okay job.

CtR clearly puts the most effort in out of anybody on the site. She is here daily and will pretty much do anything. RvR seems to have suddenly appeared more regularly; to me it seemed like he was asked to make more of an appearence or something, but he seems to be doing a good job and isnt just another fancy name.

Misty is good, as is DPWolf when she can get online, which sadly isnt often. However when she is on she seems to be able to lock bad threads, warn people etc.

Its sad that Repliku has seemingly disappeared D:

To be frank, O R A N G E is the most useless staff here, with the exception of Deathspank :v ( but I guess he is founder lol ) Hissora never seems to be on, she shouldnt be a supermod. Coco has vanished too... okay, we know they are good, but whats the point if they are never here? We can't just keep the staff positions incase they come back.

 

I'd say a good 1 of every 2 staff does their job.

That isn't a bad average, 1 out of 2.

But you are pretty much right.

 

Two staff have gone inactive (Coco and Repliku) and two of them have resigned (Darkandroid and Shadowjak)...

...maybe back when Deathspank was here people were more active, but regardless, if you're a staff member it's your job...to do your job. Even if you do get bored. If you don't want it, then step down. That's pretty much how I see it. =/

 

It's really too bad DA and SJ left. I thought they were awesome. =\

The staff sucks.
A good lot of them are biased.
They also try to ban people that they feel are............I dunno............."not pure", luckily there are a few, (emphasis on that FEW part) that are rational enough to not make this forum look like a Myspace blog of drama.
That's really all there is to say.
