I think Mike, Catch the Rain, Condemned Memoir and Misty are da best, cuz seriously, they are all pretty much on line at least once a day.
Whenever I talk to CtR,she is usually busy taking care of trolls or extra accounts and whatnot, but she at least does a good job.
Mike reports something new almost every day, and can help keep the forum active, if not alive. His reports are fun to read, and the same thing in the spamzone, when he does post.
Misty, I've never talked to, but it seems she is possessive of her section (not a bad thing!) She does a good job keeping a lid on the crap there, and her siggy can be entertaining to watch.
Condemned Memoir is fun to talk to, a little intimidating, but fun. He's good with tech and helping me out with that kinda thing, and though I haven't seen him doing as much as CtR, he still helps out.

Not really anyone else gets on, much. My sister and I didn't even know half the sectional moderators existed, because they barely get on or even post. I didn't even know there was another reporter (Xaldin, I think?) until my sister and I went through the Forum leader's page, trying to figure out who was still here.

Last of all, I miss seeing Repliku around. I never talked to him, but I miss seeing his long replies, then waiting to see who would be either brave, stupid or naive enough to argue with his post.

I feel like CtR does most of everything. RvR sometimes does things when CtR isn't around (such as changing premmy names). I don't really see much of the staff really doing anything. Half of them don't even come online anymore.

Oh, and Mike's good at what he does with the news. And I can't judge the coders because I'm never in that section.

I suggest rethinking the staff you have, and maybe give them a chance to try to do their job before you kick them off. After cleaning out your staff members, you should re-open staff applications, since summer is approaching and you're most likely going to need more competent staff.

Staff is cool, but the greater part of the staff members don't get on or do much.

I can't vouch for the guys and gals in orange because I've never been within the code vault.

I know that Xaldin has been around since forever, but he's not been online for near to 5 months, and I can't say that he has or has not given any input or additional information aside from what Mike has been able to provide nearly daily.

When it comes to Admins, I'm surprised to still see Deathspank as an admin especially after handing the reigns to spdude. Is he still there as a founder then? Spdude is a necessary one because of his control over the site. RvR and CtR are two of the more active staff here, but i'll admit it, i don't see RvR on as much but that doesn't mean that he isn't doing his job. CtR is on daily, and dealing with the good **** and bad ****. The staff that voted her in made the best decision and it has been what has kept this site from crashing and burning.

Orange and Wolfie are in HS, so I can understand if they aren't on every minute of every day. Coco and Hissora are the less active section mods and deal primarily with the graphic section. I don't know what they do because I don't frequent that section.

Darky and Misty contribute and such, but Repliku seems to have gone MIA. I know he's busy with college and work and all and I think the reason that he is still staff is because of his intillect and maturity which staff should have to be staff to be able to handle as such.

I guess after going over this, it boils down to those that are on more, do more and are pulling the weight of others. Does this mean we need new staff, it's up to the staff to decide.

But this is my two cents.

There are other staff beyond CtR? The **** now?

But honestly, I don't envy the position the staff of this forum are in. The members here are terrible.
And as a moderator of that "other Kingdom Hearts forum", I truly and deeply empathize with you guys. I ****ing cry if I had to clean up the messes here.
But on the flipside of that, I do think it's your own fault. Stupidity doesn't deserve to be rewarded.

I understand what you are saying. I mean I only just post news, but in a way it's a lot more then what some people may think. A normal post with translations and etc can take from five minutes to an hour to post. Let's not even talk about those video game conventions (laughs). That’s like two hours and then staying on all day until the convention is over. So, it's about the research, translating, correct grammar, posting images, editing and etc that go in it. You need to be on daily to check any updates. A lot of websites are known for how fast they get the news up. On my end, I also spend a lot of time organizing the updates so it's appealing to the eye for visitors/members. The video production isn't for me. It's for you guys to have something to watch and understand because so much stuff is in Japanese lately. In my opinion a staff member is somebody who helps out with the website is any possible way. I know if I wasn't posting and news wasn't coming in to the website that members wouldn't bother coming. I mean it's only normal for you guys to do that. Who wants to go a website with no updated information on what you enjoy? I wouldn't.

As for the rest of the team, I feel everyone is doing what they can. CTR is always active and it always fixing what she can on the forums. It takes a lot to do it. Same thing with RVR. I mean between both of them, they are on the role. I think Repliku is a great sec mod. Repliku also does a great job on advice in Help with Life section. Misty is around a lot and has also been here for awhile. Before I got here, when Xaldin was active, he did a great job keeping the front page active. I've seen posts from DP Wolf in our staff section and a lot of good intentions in mind for KHV. I don't really know Orange. I haven't talked to her. I need to get in contact, because that's bad on my part. Holy shi*! That was a lot of typing. I have to finish classes, later guys.

We need Xaldin back too, cause he exemplified what a true staff should be like.

    cosign what spitty said

the only person i can say is like a real staff, imho, is RVR. Doesn't get into drama, post nonsense threads that are supposed to be funny and is negotiable with his decisions

    Orange,no.CTR,no.Darkwatch,no.

    Mike,yes,SPDude,yes

Hissora maybe and Misty maybe only because they do their best to make the graphic section stay away from one sentence bullshit posts.

sorry guys, i didnt mean to i offend you.

    derep is welcome

I'd like to point out that DPWolf is currently unable to come on here on anything other than her phone until summer, so it's natural for her to not be doing as much mod work as of late.

As for my own opinion? Pretty much everything that's already been said. Though I do think there are a fair amount of active members I see here every day that would probably make great mods.

Okay, so, seeing as I'm relatively new to the forums (despite what my join date may have you believe), I don't know how useful my opinion will be to you. However, over the past couple months, the only admins I've actually seen online are CtR, RvR (...I assume this is Condemned Memoir, right?), Misty, DPWolf, Mike, Dark, and Orange. The ones I feel are really doing something are CtR, RvR, Misty, DPWolf, and Mike. The others may be doing stuff too, but, as I said, I haven't been here long, so I haven't really seen it. I can't really judge the coders, because I've never actually even been in the code vault.

Personally, the mod that I think does the most work is CtR. She's on everyday (I think) and is always keeping track of troublemakers and keeping order on the site. I've also seen RvR around a lot more often in the past couple weeks, but CtR seems to lock more threads/give more warnings/etc., which is a very good thing (otherwise there would be chaos!!)

Overall, I think the staff is pretty good. There are a few that I have never even seen... but the ones I have seen seem to be doing a pretty good job.

I figured they did. Just because I don't see them working (because I don't go in the code vault) doesn't mean they're not doing anything.

@ phantom: it seems like you've got your ranks a bit mixed up. xD CtR and RvR are admins (RvR = Condemned Memoir. His old username was Roxasvsriku.) Darky, Repliku, Hissora, and I are all Super Moderators. DPWolf, Orange, and Coco are sectional Moderators, meaning that they have power in limited areas, while Super Mods have power everywhere, as well as the power to ban.

You mean like breaking the site?
I miss the days when staff actually had to do **** since there would be waves of shitstorms all over the place.

Ah, no, I know. I know that people besides admins and Super Moderators can't ban, I was just using that as an example for like what I'd seen that qualifies at working. I've never seen Repliku, Hissora, or Coco... well, ever. But for Coco that could be because he/she works in a section I never go to?

What I meant was that all the staff members that I've actually met seem to be doing a good job at what they do. I just feel that CtR does the most. She is an admin after all...

I guess I read your post wrong them. ^^; Coco moderates the Graphic Art section, but she's been inactive lately. I think her laptop broke.

    In all honesty:

I think some actually do their job while the others just..do **** and barely go online.Staff has turned a little sloppy lately.

And also, I know shadowjak is no longer staff but I just wanted to say that he was a complete ass. I know honesty is a good thing and all but there are many other ways to be honest, say the truth and not sound like a total jackass at all.

Maybe he just wanted to sound cool and all but I don't know, that's just my opinion and not trying to sound like a ***** at all.
