Actually...

Guys, I want to know what you actually DO think about staff. I won't ban/warn/whatever just be honest.

It is pretty clear that there are a lot of issues lately, and I think part of that is we have forgotten about the fact you guys have thoughts and opinions too.

So, what IS your opinion of staff?

 

Well in all honesty I really think you and a few select others (Misty, Darky, RvR off the top of my head) are the only ones making a commitment and that you really need to revamp the staff because everyone else is barely doing their job at all or rarely visits now. This is basically a publicly known fact. Everyone knows most staff barely do ****. This needs to change. Very soon.

Some of the staff don't do anything or if they do they don't do it as they should. Some members of the staff do what they must/should but my main problem is that it would seem the staff take favorites and won't ban/give a warning to certain people for doing things a banned person would, or at least it looks that way from my angle. You staffs do a good job but you screw up sometimes which is understandable seeing how you are human like everyone else (I appologise to those who are not human such as What?) but some of you either need to pull you head out your butt and do some staffing or be gone. Overall I see about 3-4 staff actually doing the job they should and only 2 of them tend to do it well enough (yet still get shit for it sometimes.)

If you didn't get any of that I basically said some of you are good but the rest need to do more.

 

Couple of staffs i see 95% of the time helping out, alot I don't see.

CtR your one of the main ones I see around, and alot of the time im talking to you, you seem to be bussy with some forum issue. Im not around the forum much so I can't say who is helping or not. But theres alot of mods I suddenly see around and be like 'Who the hell is that guy?!' only to be told theyve been around for ages.

 

Wow, mods with powers over more than one area are seen more than sectional mods? I wonder why 8D

Well... no. Like everyone else said, half the staff I don't even see anymore, and I know I don't have much room to talk since I've been gone forever, but over the past 2 weeks I've been on everyday, and the only people I see online are CtR, Darkwatch, Misty, DPWolf, CM, and Orange. Oh, and Mike too, if he counts. <.< Now I'm not saying that no ones doing their job, but I see CtR doing everything. The staffs need to be more active and do their job! >:O

That's pretty much all I see.

 

That's just it. I really don't think people consider me staff because I post news. xD

 

Well, that's all you do, isn't it? You post the news. The rest of the staff keeps the forum in order (or they're supposed to). You do tell us what's going on with KH stuff, so I'm pretty sure you can be considered as staff, just... not forum management kinda stuff, like Mods, Section Mods, Admins, and Forum Helpers.

Most of the staff members on here are pretty active and I won't complain about that, just that there are those few that don't do their job and barely show their faces on here. I completly agree with Trigger and say you should start accepting staff applications and such.

As for the banning problem, I have nothing to say. Most of the reasons members are banned (given warnings B|) are just.

 

I know most of the staffies, but I can't really judge them, I haven't been here that long. I see CtR doing a lot of the work around here and no Mike I don't think you count as staff, you just post news, that's why your named a reporter :P
I see Darkwatch, Misty, DPWolf, and Orange online sometimes, so they must be doing something.

The staff are here to keep the site in order and to make our lives a living hell, right staffies? xD [jking]

well i think the admins as a group are truly dedicated, the coders are sticking to their area and getting the job done.... dont worry mike we still love you xD even if people dont think of you as staff. i think DPwolf, orange, Darkwatch all do their jobs well while not having the im a staff i control the website attitude

 

Well CtR is the only one doing all the work and when Repliku was more active he was also keeping order but the staff doesnt really do anything except CtR and Mike which makes me very concerned :/

 

Don't 'what the fuck me, I'm dead serious... When I ask people for an opinion of something he comes in and breaks my tender little soul...

You're doing a great job, CtR. Keeping track of convos and such feels kind of "1984" but truth be told it's all for the better. You're strict but just and you've solved a lot of issues. That goes for Darkwatch and Misty as well.

Then there's Condemned Memoir. He's pretty active but to be honest I've never seen him around when there's trouble with trolls or anything (I mean, I've never seen him banning or warning someone and seldom lock a thread). Then again it's probably him that banned Azure Flame's alt accounts. It's hard to tell whether he's doing a good job.

Furthermore, I miss Repliku. His long-ass replies weren't always enjoyable to read but they were honest and wise. I remember sending him some PMs requesting to lock or move a thread which he always did.

I can't really say anything about most of the sectional moderators. There are many sections I don't check at all. Haven't seen Hissora, Princess Aurora or O R A N G E around much though.

Last but not least, Mike's a good news reporter. He takes his job seriously and he should definitely keep his position.
