I followed a tut for this one, but basically it's custom. I'm proud of this one. It is a little bright, I tried to dim it a little: V1: V2: CnC?
I've seen this tutorial on GIMPtalk done many times, but I never understood why it's abstract. Dim down the colors...Copy Visible onto a New Layer and put it on Multiply, was it?, and lower the opacity if needed.
I'm liking the colors. It's an improvement. The boxes on the top right corner can be a lowered down. The border can be a 1px white, not inside like the one you have. The text needs work too. Otherwise, GJ.

I think the colors in general are pretty well placed. Though try to find some way to make the boxes less obvious. Also, try to make the lines refract some more so it has greater effects. And do something about the text...
I like the bright colours actually. The boxes on the top right corner looks kinda awkward being there. Apart from that Really good!
I followed this tutorial before XD, anyways Make one of the colors a little darker, preferably the green.
Dark Roxas: Nice Effort. I like the colours, but it looks as if its only a sharpened gradient. And the squares in the corner aren't very helpful. Take them out, and try a new font. I have to admit, this would make a REALLY nice texture =] Try some effects to make it a bit more nicer. Try, if GIMP has the CLOUD effect (I dunno D: ), that: http://www.tigert.com/gimp/tutorials/the_bazaar_1999/ with the colours. It will make it more neater. I hope that helped =D (on the tutorial, i mean just the clouds, not the hills or anything like that) Oh and for fonts, try CENTURY GOTHIC, or ARIAL BLACK. and put that in the middle.
