358/2 Days About Roxas having a heart...

Sort of a theory, I guess. Hopefully it doesn't sound too stupid.

In KH2 Final Mix, there was the scene called 'Remembrance', in which Axel says "You have a heart, don't you?" Much of Roxas' behavior also seems to point towards the fact that he could have real emotions, like his anger and hate towards DiZ, etc...

Now, in the new scans, we get to see Roxas in the places Sora's been -- Agrabah, Wonderland, and probably others. We also see him interacting with those Sora has become friends with, like the Genie, and maybe even others. So that got me thinking...

Is it possible for a nobody to regain a heart by being around the friends and places their somebody had been around? Like coming in contact with their somebody's happy memories might trigger something.

Any thoughts?

 

That's one of the best theories I've heard about Roxas' heart yet. From what we've heard in the game so far, it seems pretty believable.

those places made Roxas deep down (sora's part) remeber about Sora so thats why he left THATS WHY HE WAS TAKEN BY DIZ!!

I used to believe Roxas had a heart, but then I thought "what would happen if he became a heartless?" It would not make sense.

I think it far more likely that Nobodies can leech off of their Others' hearts.

 

I think that Roxas "shares" Sora's heart somehow.

 

Sorry but the first six organization members were all the apprentices of Ansem. They were all friends and very closed but, their Nobodies never gained a heart! This faq destroys part of this theory. 'Nuff said!

What are you talking about? They never tried to kill eachother! They were friends! Mainly Xehanort, Ienzo and Even were close! Also Ienzo, Aeleus and Even and Braig and Dilan!

 

I meant happy memories. I don't think the apprentices were truly friends, so much as allies, as Pika_power said. I don't think they could consider their memories with eachother 'happy' as Sora could with the various Disney characters. And besides, they all became nobodies -- Roxas is shown interacting with people who have hearts, like the genie and stuff. I think if he were to regain a heart, it would be caused by being with people who actually HAVE hearts.

 

They all had happy memories! They all enjoyed the time of researching and experementing! They also enjoy to torture people! Those are their kinds of happy memories! Different souls, different memories!

 

Enjoy torturing people? I think that it would be stuff like that that could cause someone to lose their heart in the first place, lol. And EVERYONE has happy memories, but I think there's the possibility that Roxas is interacting with those on a different, more extreme level. I don't think a nobody can just THINK of their old happy memories and just magically get a heart back.

 

They seemed rather set on killing each other. Zexion, Lexaeus and Vexen were plotting to kill the other half of the org. Including our beloved mansex.

Actually, they we're attempting to eliminate Marluxia, specifically, not Xemnas exactly. In fact, one could say they conspired to do this out of their loyalty to him since Marly was a traitor after all.

I think the apprentices of Ansem were somewhat friends at one point, maybe even close friends. Heck, even the password to the Room of Sleep was all of their original names! But after Xehanort became Xemnas, the undisputed leader of the Organization, the other members began to fear him and their relationship distanced. They became more of Xemnas' servants rather than accomplishes when they became nobodies. On the other hand, perhaps it was only Xemnas who was less close to the others, for example, Zexion seems to kinda get along with Lexaeus and Xigbar. The only contradiction to this is when a Xehanort-possessed Riku murdered Lexaeus in cold blood, though a simple explanation to this was that he did not recognize him as Aeleus (nobodies do differ in appearance compared to their original selves).

As for the subject of Roxas, I have no clue at all whether or not he has one. True he is a special nobody, but we mustn't forget that nobodies can exaggerate emotions quite well (i.e. Axel crying). I don't think even meeting up with Sora's friends was even enough to give him a heart, unless of course, we return to the matter that he is a special nobody.

 

Sora still existed. Thus Roxas connected and used Sora's heart. This then affected Axel.

 

So Axel cried because he used Sora's heart? I kinda doubt that, however, Xemnas did state that Axel did indeed affect Sora which partly explains the reason for Roxas' appearance in Dark City. I don't think we'll ever get a real answer until the other games get released.
