Kingdom Hearts II About King Mickey....

About his keyblades actually. I just figured out that he has used two different keyblades. In Ansem the Wise's Secret Reports, Ansem said that King Mickey was weilding the keyblade at the time. Wasn't that BEFORE he found the Dark Relm's Keyblade? Plus, what's with him weilding the Star Seeker in the KH2FM Secret Ending? Remember Goofy telling Sora that Yen Sid was the King's trainer? Yen Sid must of been training King Mickey to use the keyblade. I am guessing that he was using the Star Seeker keychain at the time. Then, when the King set out to find the Dark Relm's Keyblade and seal the Door to Darkness, he must of left the other keyblade with Yen Sid, maybe hoping that Sora might find it a help to his journey ahead.
Anyway, the point is that it's seems that every keyblade master is able to weild two keyblades. Why? I have an idea, but it needs some work. I hope that was interesting enough.... heh. ^^;

 

When it comes to weilding 2 keyblades I think it is a matter of choice, kinda like lightsabers.

 

I agree with Ninja. He had starseeker but then when he found the Dark relms keyblade he gave the first back to Yen Sid who then gave it to Sora. I just think it's a matter of choice.

 

It's kind of like going back to the movie store and exchange your old rental for a new one .

 

I have no idea. But I've never seen Kairi or Riku wield more than one Keyblade...

 

They never actually say when he found the dark realm's keyblade. That could have been part of the training he had with Yen Sid: the keyblade chose him, but he would have to enter the realm of darkness to obtain it, and come back with his heart intact. Then he just changes keychains when he needs to and left Star Seeker for Sora.

But your idea is completely plausible as well.

 

I agree with the idea that keybladers can choose to weild two keyblades. But I don't think the keyblade chose Mickey. Yen Sid said he found it. I remeber reading in a Nomura interview that one of the mysteries he wanted to clear up was Mickey's time in the Dark Relm. Perhaps it was sort of a quest for Mickey to find the Dark Keyblade and use it to close the Door to Kingdom Hearts. To close the door, a key from the light (Sora's keyblade) and the dark were required on opposite sides of the door. I hope Mickey's quest for the Dark Keyblade is touched on in the next KH installement.

 

I do too actually, cause I like the idea of Mickey going into the dark realm, and finding a keyblade. He may have found it, but maybe he was suppose to have it, it was destiny.

 

Lets hope in the next game he quits being so secretive with Sora,or who ever, and company. Part of KH2 that irked me.

 

"Irked" me? Great use of vocab! XD Yes, I know what you mean about the secretive stuff. Sora's like: "Oh! Hey, King Mickey!" Mickey: "SHHHHHH!!!!" Sora: "I have to ask you-" Mickey: "SHHHHHH!!!" Sora: "But I-" Mickey: "SHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
