    I have 2 main questions.

1.Is it wrong to go inside an abandoned building?

2.We planned on going into one.If we did, what would be ideal to bring.

Just asking you guys. Also,if this is in the wrong spot, you can move it.

That would depend. Does the structure looks stable? Is there a source of light. Like, does the windows allow light to shine in?

I've never been in an abandoned house, just a school. It looked as though everyone left fairly quickly. There was Christmas decorations still up. The entire buildin' was sealed - windows n' doors were sealed by metal shutters. I managed to pull one of the doors open. It was freakin' scary! It was completely pitch black. We didn't dare go beyond the front room.

So my advice is not to go. You could get hurt then someone would need to help you, which could get you in trouble.

1.I think it's against the laws to trespass on abandoned property.but if you don't care go for it,but don't go in if it's not stable like kitty said.

2.flashlights,spraypaint,crowbar to open locked doors, and jogging shoes so you can out run the cops if they or someone sees you go in and they call the cops on you.

It depends if the structure ( like Kitty said ) isn't stable or if it's on private property that belongs to someone.
If the structure isn't stable, you could fall through the floor or something.
If it's on private property, the owner could call the cops on you.

A flash light, a cell phone, crowbar, cutters, running shoes, and I can't think of anything else.

    1. It depends on if it is legal to trespass and enter a building. Some areas are restricted. Most places are illegal to trespass on. So if you go, realize you are probably breaking the law and could get caught.

    2. If you decide to do it any way, despite the large chances it's probably illegal, realize that the building may be locked up and abandoned for a reason. There could be structural damage as Kitty mentioned but also it may have something else wrong with it such as having molds in there or may be bug infested etc. I'd bring a flashlight, cell phone in case there's problems, and some of the other things people mentioned. Also, if you notice things aren't safe in there such as bad stairs etc, it's a good sign to not keep exploring.

    1. yes well kind of depending on how beat up the building is.

    2. Hardhats and a bat of some sort, stuff falls and there could be some crazy people in there (you never know) and I am being serious from partial experience

Well I would recommend equipping Elixer of the Mongoose...

    Jk. Anyone get the reference?

    1. When you say wrong, do you mean morally wrong, legally wrong, what? Provided you don't plan to tag the place, or wreck it, I think that it is morally acceptable in today's society. I would not make it a hangout, nor would I wreck random stuff, or go on looting parties, but I think that exploring is morally justifiable.

    2. Oh, I don't know. Food and drink, to bolster morale, although I would not recommend alchohol. Cellphones and a contact, in case you screw up. A buddy. Don't go in solo. A knife, crowbar and the like could be useful too. (Don't turn to violence though.) Common sense is the most important tool.

Good luck, I want a battle report!

    1. Yes, but you go ahead.
    2. Chainsaw, because you are just begging to be a part of a horror story by going in there.
