A World At War

Serafina smirked "Well...it is if the princess objects", she lifted her hand to stroke Zanders cheek.

 

Zentus was close to gagging at this point.
"Um...you guys?" he said, waving his arms a little to get their attention. "Aren't we losing focus just a little?"


Xaneroy said something quietly to the man. Silently, the man began heading toward the three children. He did not seem to be walking...more like...floating.
"This should be interesting." Xaneroy said, opening a portal for himself to leave. He would leave the rest to the cloaked man.

 

"No. I can't join you. Ill do this on my own" Shen said

 

Serafina noticed the strange figure approaching "Zander...we got to move"


Kalei started to wake up "Urgh....what happened"

 

The man said something that only Serafina could hear inside her head.
"I have come for you...princess."

 

Shen simply closed his eyes and turned away "the others wouldn't even forgive me" Shen said and walked

 

Serafina'a faced turned pale "We got to move fast"

 

Zentus pulled out his sword and looked at the coming figure.
"We've faced plenty of people." he said. "Why not this guy?"
Suddenly, the man slowly raised his arm a little. Zentus screamed as he fell to the ground, his entire body feeling as if it were being burned from the inside.
"M-Maybe...we....should...leave." Zentus said, gasping for breath after each word he said.
Not having enough strength to even get up anymore, Zentus was pathetically attempting to crawl away from the man.
"I...I can't."

 

Serafina quickly rushed back to Zentus "Its not safe....this guy..his power is immense" Serafina looked at the strange figure "and he can talk to me in my mind"

 

Zentus stopped crawling and managed to get up, now running towards the man, blood dripping down both sides of his forehead. The man pointed his arms into the air and a huge storm began to start.
"DIE!!!!" Zentus yelled, sending a huge amount of fire straight at the mysterious man.
The man didn't even lift a finger to make the fire dissapear. Swiftly, he grabbed Zentus by the neck, causing Zentus to begin fading away into darkness.
"Pathetic!" the man whispered in a cold voice, dropping Zentus onto the ground.
Zentus looked up into the sky, now bleeding a lot. He was completely still as every inch of his body burned.
"Get UP!" the man yelled.
Zentus continued looking at the sky, a single tear rolling down his face.
"Fine." the man said, now heading toward Serafina and Zander again. "I could help you keep from fading away...but do as you wish."
Still, Zentus stared at the sky, knowing that his time had come.
"I...I wonder what father would say if he saw me like this..."

 

Serafina took a deep breath and stood infront of the figure "Just take me, don't hurt my friends"

 

Zentus looked up at Serafina.
"Sometimes..." he said, weekly. "Not everyone can have a happy ending."
With that said, Zentus closed his eyes and faded away.



The man looked at Serafina, rain pouring onto her hair as she shivered a little.
"As you wish...princess." the man said.
He grabbed Serafina first by the arm, then by the neck and began dragging her into a black portal.

 

Zander's body went right through the man, as if the man didn't even exist. With a small chuckle, the man dragged Serafina into the portal and dissapeared with her.

 

"I'm sorry zander" whispered Serafina as she was painfully dragged through the portal, not knowing where she was going or who this man was, was he associated with Versago? She had no clue. The last thing she saw was Zander on the ground, after jumping straight through the man.


ooc -sorry was on last night, had a naruto photoshoot then a sleepover, and tonight im off to London to see a comedian, so i'll be on tomorrow!

 

"even if they did forgive me. I couldn't forgive myself. Not right now" Shen said

 

Zentus could feel nothing. He was simply sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness, knowing that it really was no use.
"Fine." he said in a week, tired tone. "Everyone was right all along, my heart is doomed to the darkness. Well then, I surrender...I surrender my heart to the darkness..."
Everything went pitch black.

The man arrived with Serafine back at the castle.
"Now..." he said. "Sleep, princess."
He cast a spell on Sera that would keep her unconscious for a few hours while Xaneroy could decide her fate.
Xaneroy came walking down the hall and grabbed the unconscious girl by her left arm.
"Good job..." he said. "Everything is falling into place."
He took three pictures out of one of his pockets. Each was a picture of either Zander, Sera, or Zentus. Xaneroy ripped up the picture of Zentus and watched the pieces float gently to the ground.
"Everything..."
