This theory belongs to my friend, I didn't come up with it. Anyway, I think that there are complete cures for diseases such as cancer and AIDS, but they are kept secret from society because these diseases keep the population down. Think about it, if AIDS and cancer didn't exist, how many MORE people would there be on earth, probably millions. What do you think?
I would say its a distinct possibility, the same reason for the cures not being given out and being "discovered" might also be the same underlying reason for some war's lately, and not what they say the causes are. but that too is just a theory.
Wow, that is certainly an interesting theory.... But if they have the cure for Autism locked up somewhere, and they're not giving it to us, I'd knock down their doors and rip it from their hands, with the help of every other person who has a family member with Autism.
I highly doubt this. There are many prospects for help those that are autistic to cope and better integrate into society, but a cue requires an entirely re-worked set of genes. It's simply not possible at the time being. While this is an amusing conspiracy, drug companies more often than not enjoy giving us whatever "miracle cure" they find in their labs. The only issue is that more often than not they like to jump the gun, and rather than process their findings through more tests they distribute it right away or go to the media to find a profit. Years later we find out it was doing something wrong, or doing nothing at all. Other than that the only reason we haven't been able to go all out and find a cure for diseases like AIDs and cancer is because 1) Money and funding are always going to be an issue and 2) we can't set up perfect experiments in which there are controls (people who don't get a drug) and treatment groups (people who get the drug). The reason for #2 is that it's unethical to not treat a person. Without placing the proper constraints it's impossible to draw a straight forward conclusion.
There probably are cures out there for things like cancer and AIDS. I don't think they are kept from people because of population issues, but more for money. For example, let's say a person with cancer was given something that cured them. They wouldn't need to pay for treatments and medicine anymore, so doctors and such would lose money. And when you think about how many people have things like cancer and are constantly paying for treatment, if there was a cure the medical field would lose huge amounts of money. So we are kept from things like this so people can make thier money in the end.
I don;t believe it. If people found out about this, the people will sue teh gov and then they'll have a rebellion and then they'll take the cures and then more people will be happily living together. Of course this is what I mean, one of the gov family relative like a daughter has aids and they have a cure for it. What would he do? Would he giver the cure and then leak out teh secret? Or would he just let his own young daughter die at something he could've stopped?
I doubt there is a cure for any of this...Although I bet there will be a cure for cancer (or at least a better way to treat it) in the next 10 years. I doubt the government would do this for money, they have better ways to get money from the people (taxes and using other countries). Although having a cure for AIDS and cancer would make the population much larger (it sounds mean but we need a way to keep the human population down).
The NHS are already overwhelmed in the UK with loads of patients, superbugs and the amount of drugs required which is costing a tonne. It wouldnt surprise me too much if somebody in the world had a cure and was keeping quiet, because i dont think all hospitals could cope with all the people with cancer and aids, and im sure the cure wouldnt be a simple pill, and probably a long operation or something, which would cost more and take more time Nice theory though
Agreed. I have a mental disorder that's part of the Autism Spectrum. It's called Aspergers Syndrome. Not to mention that my mom works for ARC Industries(Part of the Franklin County Board of MRDD) I'd love to help the clients there, especially Danny.
Seriously, after BILLIONS of dollars have gone into cancer and AIDS research, I think they would've found a cure by now.
that's an interesting theory, it's also probably why they haven't banned somking.. it kills more than any other drug., but if they got sick... i bet they would use the cures... selfish
