Square-Enix A square game you regret or wouldn't play

If most people say that Kingdom Hearts I is stupid but Kingdom Hearts II is awesome, I think they are stupid people. Kingdom Hearts I without a doubt I think better than KH II.

 

Really? You're going to call people out on a total opinion?

Look, KHII had the reaction commands, the ability to skip cutscenes, more variation with party members and summons, etc. These are things that people enjoyed from the second entry that elevates their opinion of it. KHI was a good game in itself, but there was obviously room for improvement, as there is usually room to improve things in video games.

I have to say, Re:Coded almost made it into my list of one of the worst Square games I've yet to play. Granted there are many titles I've yet to even touch, but between repeating worlds at least three times in the whole story (not counting going back after you've beaten it for bonuses), the lack of content in the avatar sector (not all of us have friends who would spend their money, let alone their time on this game), and the overall annoyance that was the system sector battles.

I could go on with individual complaints about each and every little thing I found annoying and repetitive, but I would like to avoid sounding mundane, as this just about sums it up for those of you who haven't played the title and don't want spoilers on the plot.

 

i definitely regret purchasing Unlimited Saga and Dragon Quest 8. i just couldn't get myself into either game.
