Digital Art a spidey sig (guys help me get better)

pupupullleeeaze help me get better at sigs! (i use gimp v2)

 

Work on text, and don't cover up the focal so much.
The effects are pretty random.... no depth or flow.
Work on render placement.
Don't just use brushes either... mix brushes with filters and c4d's and smudging.....
Add some lighting.
Also, work on blending.... your renders are either too blended or not enough.
Cause you can barely see spidey.
That should help you ^_^

whats c4d's? and what is a good mix to try?

everytim e i add a light effect it distorts my renders quality

I've only been able to follow one tut on GimpTalk though, TBK. There... Confusing ( oR I just suck really really bad). Um... The brushes are just... Really random, no blend at all. But still, it pwns anything I could do.

 

Yeah, you should do like BK said.
The spidey and the text needs to be worked on because it is bearly visible.
