A Scattered Dream

"Just thought I'ld check up on you all. I've been hard at work. Studying and researching the worlds." Xemnas saw Demyx ruffling something in his pocket. "What have you there, Demyx?"

 

Still drenching wet, Axel rolled his eyes as an idea then hit him of hearing Larxene's comment. "Not quite yet...." He said to Xion as he walked over to Larxene, "You are the most detestible hyprocritical nobody b****! I have ever met especially the way you use people in Castle Oblivion. You and Marluxia were prepared to take the organization out, but were too stupid to realize that I was the one who saw right through your scheme. And now you are playing your seductive ****ty charms on one of my other friends to turn him against me. Well guess what...you aren't going to get away it, as in matter of fact," He shook off all the water that was on him now transferred all over Larxene making her drench instead of him. "If I remember right electricity and water don't mix and you abhore the very essense of the element t as well, and if you try to use your powers while you are wet you will explode." He laughed darkly with a hint of evil in his voice.He then smirked and then went to the superior. "So what brings you here superior?"

 

Demyx gasped and tried to side step the conversation. "Oh I bet you have been busy and one would expect you to be. You are the boss after all. Um what do you mean boss?" His smile broadened. He took one glance at Axel and was shaking his head at him warning him not to start another fight.

 

Riku looked at Xion, and frowned. 'You've got to run.' He said suddenly.

 

Larxene shook her head, clenching her fists. She wanted to hurt Axel, but she wouldn't. She must control herself. Xion looked up at Xemnas fearfully, trying to hide herself behind Axel. "Axel....." her voice drifted off. Larxene watched the little girl, then subtly stepped over to her. I can't...I'm..tired.. Xion murmured to Riku. Even so, she took a step back, looking for a way to run.

 

'Don't strain yourself.' Riku warned.

 

Xion smiled at him. When have I done that? she smirked, poking him lightly.

 

"Good thing the boss is here," Demyx thought not doubting a moment Larxene would of attacked Axel if he wasn't. Sighing he looked at Xion who seemed to be deathly afraid. "Xion everything will be all right," he looked at Larxene, waved his finger at her in a mocking method and then kneeled down a bit to show Xion that she be comfotable when he was present. "Boss, Larxene is doing her best not to start another fight, but I would like to know is there anything we should know about?" He brought his gaze upon him and kept looking at Axel making sure he wasn't going to be sneaky and attack anyone.

 

Axel rolled his eyes with Demyx coming up with some sort of excuse for Larxene as he continued to smirk looking at her all drenched. He noticed Demyx looking at him and it kind of disturbed him. "What are you looking at?" He asked him. He noticed that Larxene seem to be protecting Xion. "Now this is a change, I thought that you hated her without a passion?" He asked her.

 

Larxene looked at Axel steadily, not saying a word. She was wet, true, but she didn't care. She had made a promise. Xion wobbled, then slowly took another step. "Don't be mean to Larxene, Axel...." she wobbled, catching herself at the last moment.

 

Axel looked at Xion oddly. "I am treating her the way she treats me. After all she is the one who betrayed us in the Castle Oblivion downfall." He replied glaring at Larxene surprised that she was being very quiet all of a sudden.

 

Xion looked up at him, her wide blue eyes earnest. "You and her need to open Kingdom Hearts." she said quietly.

 

Riku chuckled as Xion poked him.

 

Demyx shook his head not believing what he heard. This was the same thing Larxene was talking to him about and same with Axel. "What you can't possibly be serious!" He shouted at Xion. "So that is what that secret was. If it had to do with ending my existance I would say see ya." He scolded her.

 

"You won't stop existing. You'll be whole." Xion explained, cringing back. Larxene watched the girl quietly, then looked at Demyx and Axel. Xion smiled silently, as Riku laughed. I like your laugh. she murmured.

 

"Yeah I know, but what about you? Is that what you and Larxene were talking about? Wait a minute are you saying I'll be my weak self again without my powers or sitar or anything? I want to stay exactly the way I am now except with a heart," he exclaimed in a stern tone. "I love being able to manipulate water."

 

"You will." Larxene said. "Exactly so. What Xion and I discussed will become known when it must."

 

"Something tells me it's not good," he looked away from her feeling ashamed. "Why Xion? Why are you being a matryr?"

 

Axel was very confused now. He didn't expect this kind of answer, but he wanted to know why she felt this way. So if he allowed this to happen he would lose another friend. Hadn't lost too much already."Xion, why would you want to die? Even if we did open Kingdom Hearts that goal would take who knows how long. We don't even know how many more hearts we will need." He looked at Demyx and Larxene. "How does anyone know about this?"

 

Larxene watched him stonily. Xion shook her head, sitting down wearily. "My number's up anyway." she sighed. "We just need to do it. I'll help."
