A Scattered Dream

Demyx realizing that Xion was not in his arms, felt like she was from the heavy feeling. He gasped at the sudden attack from Axel and ducked out of reflex thinking the chakram was going to fly at him. "Axel you didn't need to harm Larxene like that. You gotta watch your temper." He hoped a fight wouldn't break out. "Larxene fighting is not going to solve anything," he tried to reason with her.

 

Larxene held her face, taking a deep breath. "It always does." she replied to Demyx, standing up, and letting her hand down. There was a long cut right above her right eye. "Xion will never be one of us." she said to Axel, smirking. It was so easy to make him angry. "And when she disappears, you will finally see I'm right."

Xion felt conflict, and jerked back reflexily. I have to go, something's happening. she said to Riku, beginning to withdraw.

 

'NO!' Riku grabbed her arm, and looked at her. 'Please don't. I need you.' The last part slipped out of his mouth.

 

Xion looked up at him. Why? she asked. I won't leave, I'm right here. she pulled him into a hug, trying to ignore his emotions.

 

Demyx presently wanted to wash his hands of the whole thing. Why did they have to fight and now Larxene was adding more fuel to the fire, with her snide remarks. "No you're wrong there. Fighting is a waste of time and does not solve anything. I don't know why I'm trying to reason with you and Axel? But the point is can you two talk without biting each others heads off first? I highly doubt it. And I don't think the boss is impressed either. Larxene, the boss needs Axel to fight and you getting him furious is not going to help. Axel, you could of cut out her eye. Watch it!" He placed his arms out in front of him gesturing he was upset. "I'm the only one that is not starrting trouble here," he said to Xemnas.

 

Larxene sighed, turning for a second to look at Demyx. "If he wants the truth so bad, he can hear it." she said. "That doesn't mean he will like it." She smiled sadly for a second, remembering.

 

"Perhaps you're right Demyx. I will be sure to keep a close eye. But for now I have things to do." Xemnas left into a portal of darkness.

 

Larxene watched him go, then shook her head. "I'm heading out too. Places to see, people to torture." she smiled sadly at Demyx one last time, then disappeared into a portal.

 

Riku couldn't control his emotions. There was anger, saddness, happiness, and most of, he felt love flowing throught his veins. He hugged her back, threatning not to let go.

 

Xion winced as Riku's emotions pounded through her, making her head hurt. I won't leave you. she murmured again, pushing his feelings away.

 

'I know.' Was all he could say.

 

Xion managed a smile, hugging Riku tightly.

BIC: Xion looked up at him. What if they pull me away from here? she asked. I might not be able to stop them.

 

'They won't. Only you can control it.' Riku's smile widen.

 

Are you sure? Xion asked, smiling a litte. What happens if they hurt my body?

 

'Then I'll hurt them. Easy as that!' Riku simply replied.

 

Xion smiled, and hugged Riku again. "I'll have to find a way to get you out of that prison." she said, thinking.

 

'That I don't have an answer for.' Riku said glumly.

 

Xion grinned. Not yet you don't. she sat down, placing her chin on her palm
