A Scattered Dream

"The real reason?" Xion looked at him, trying not to show fear. She had been surprised when Axel had defended her, and a little happy about it.

Larxene glared at Axel, still holding her knives. "You wouldn't go against it, if the superior wanted it." she hissed, itching to hurt him.

 

Axel narrowed his eyes evily"Is that a challenge. Think about it Larxene wouldnt' you want to do know the truth about yourself? No one should hide anything from the other. No matter how painful it could be. Now what do you mean with the superior?"

 

Larxene grinned, tensing. "Wouldn't it be tragic if the information broke her?" she nodded toward Xion. "What would you do then? Poor Axel....one friend disappeared, the other a broken nobody." She waited. If he made one move.....

 

Riku eyed Larxene, and Axel. "We need to talk alone, but your bubby wont have it."

 

Axel glared at Larxene his temper beginning to rise, but he knew he wanted to know more infomation before he charged at her. He only clutched her knives with his chakrams holding them back. "Tell me what you mean by that?"

 

Larxene glanced at Riku, then taking a knife she had hidden in her boot, she flung it across the room, pinning Xion to the wall. "Now, you and Riku can chat." she said, smirking. "I'll leave it up to you to tell Xion. Then, when she fades away, you'll know its your fault." Larxene backed away, and bowed. "I'm off to find Sora, and get some information out of him." Larxene stepped back into a portal, disappearing.

 

"Xion!" Riku put Kairi on the floor, and stumbled over to Xion. "Are you ok?"

 

Xion nodded, white faced. She put a hand to her shoulder, feeling wetness soak through the cloak. "Just a scratch." she whispered.

 

Axel glared as he saw that Larxene had disappeared. There was something he needed to know so he decided to go after her. "Xion, stay here and Riku if you touch her, harm her or transport her anywhere I will kill you where you stand. That is a promise." He concentrated with his power and put her in a ring of fire so no one would get near her. "You can talk and that is all I am going to allow." He warned before making a portal and going after Larxene.

 

"Want me to get you out of there?" Riku said, looking at the fire.

 

Larxene's laugh echoed from everywhere."Why, Axel, I do believe you actually care about her. But leaving her with Riku wasn't the smartest choice."

"He said to stay..." Xion whispered, but she nodded. She wanted to get the knife out, but it was deeply in the wall.

 

Riku opened a portal, and walked in. Now he was sitting next to Xion. "Here you go." He said as he took the knife out. He opened another portal, and carried the nobdy through.

 

Xion tried to smile, but kept a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you." she said, putting pressure on the wound.

 

"Let me help." Riku took off his jacket and ripped it into long pieces, then he tied it all to gether and wrapped it around Xion's shoulder.

 

(OOC: I'll be right back. Riku you do you know you are going to be on Axel's death wish! I don't see how you can just walz in and get her away from the fire. Xion is in the protection of it and it will burn you. This nobody's fire is magical after all )


"If he can't be trusted then he is a dead man. She is my friend. Do you have a problem with that?" Axel replied following Larxene. "Now tell me what you mean by that?"

 

Xion smiled up at him. "Thanks. I never really got to meet you, did I?" she said. "Kairi spoke of you, and so did Sora. Roxas too....." she quieted for a bit. "When do you think Axel will come back?" she asked.

Larxene laughed again. "Sometimes, our original selves, the information about them would break our minds, if we aren't strong enough. Xion isn't by far. The wrong information will set her off. Then she won't eat, sleep....and she's eventually die. Wouldn't that be a shame?"

 

occ: Yes I know. His cloths got bit burned!

"I hope never. Yes, we have meet actually. We were...I don't remember where we were, but we got in a fight." Riku stopped and looked away.

 

"A fight? What happened?" Xion looked up at him, watching him closely.

 

"Nothing...happened." He closed his eyes again so he wouldn't have to look into her eyes.

 

Xion turned his face toward hers. "Riku, I can handle it. What happened?" she asked again.
