A Scattered Dream

Riku grinned. "Nothing. That's what would happened to Kairi."

 

"Ah finally the words I've been waiting for," he said to himself and smiled. "Hey boss you wouldn't believe that Riku was actually trying to find out my life before, but I didn't fall for it now did I? See I'm learning," he waited to be patted on the back or shoulder by someone as he was eating up this postive attention for a change. "I could get used to this," he slid the journal and the scroll into his cloak to hide it from Xemnas.

 

"Well done, your improvements are noted."

 

"Are you sure? Wouldn't it be terrible to find out they had a hidden connection after all? To watch Kairi die, and know you were wrong?"

 

"No, because the only connection Kairi and Xion have is the light." Riku said matter-of-fact.

 

Larxene shook her head, grinning. "You aren't sure, are you? Maybe we should try. Invade Kairi with darkness. What would happen then?"

 

"Nothing! I told you nothing would happen. LEAVE HER ALONE!" Riku shouted.

 

Larxene grinned, then fast, let go of Riku, and grabbed Kairi. "It wouldn't hurt, too much. Would she be the same Kairi you knew?" Larxene pointed her knives at Kairi's throat.

 

Kairi felt something cold and smooth on her throat. 'Wh-what's this?'

occ: I quess it's a good thing I'm Kairi, too, huh?

Riku smacked his head on the cell floor, again, and stood up in a dazz. "I said leave her alone. Don't tough her!" Her sommond his keyblade and charged Larxene.

 

Larxene grinned, enjoying this. She pressed the knives against Kairi's throat harder, making a small trickle of blood appear. "Don't think I won't hesitate."

Suddenly Kairi screamed out in pain, making everything freeze.

 

OOC: Am i frozen? Or was that figurative? ^^"

 

Axel watched Larxene and Riku carefully and as he acknowledged Demyx. He was not going to let a fight break out. He kept close eye on Xion as well. "Larxene, don't you mind? I have questions for Riku that he must answer right now." He shoved her out of the way and placed Kairi with Riku. "Now then answer Xion's questions or I will kill you myself instead of letting you rot in that cell." He threatened Riku his tone turning deadly.

 

Demyx jumped in place, dancing from foot to foot, excited that Axel was involving himself furthur and had actually shoved the savage nymph out of his way. "Oooh this is going to be good," he was amused as he waited to see what Riku would do next to hurt himself. "Banging your head on the floor is not going to help her in anyway." He spotted Kairi in agony and stood by wondering if Larxene had stabbed her in the same place he pierced her earlier with the blades of his sitar.

 

Larxene hissed, glaring at Axel. "She is not meant to know." she said, spinning her knives.

Xion shivered. Larxene scared her, and Xemnas was still here. She cringed when Axel flew past her to help Riku and Kairi, then watched. "I have a right to know." she said, trying to be brave. "I wanna know what happened to me."

 

Riku looked away again. "No, you can't."

Kairi opened her eyes slwoly and painfully.

 

Sora felt a sharp pain in his heart. "Kairi, where are you?"

 

"What are you talking about? I do, don't I?" Xion felt like the argument had been said before, like the words had been spoken before. "I have a right to know." she said.

Larxene turned her eyes in Xion's direction. "I'll make you regret coming back here, if you don't stop." she threatened.

 

Axel smirked at Demyx as he then glared at Larxene and showed his chakrams at her throat. "You will not touch her and I dont' see why you would care for the least. Do you really want to deal with me? The one who can make you explode if both of our powers collided." He warned shoving her back with his chakrams. "Riku, tell Xion or you will regret it."

 

"But she can't know...the real reason." Riku closed his eyes and tighten his arms around Kairi for comfort.

Kairi toughed Riku's arm.
