A Scattered Dream

Xion stared at Riku. He looked a lot different then she remembered. And the girl, Kairi, she was there too. Xion wondered what would happen if she touched Kairi, just on the hand. The urge to do it was strong, but she held back. She liked being free. She stayed by Axel, shivering.

 

Axel watched Xion carefully as he wanted to put some kind of shield on her if she tried to touch Kairi or do anything, but talk. He trusted her, but not the other two of Sora's friends. Axel noticed Xion shivering and rubbed her shoulders consoling her in some way.

 

"Now that's just plain rude. How do I know you're not trying to trick me?" He stood up and approached the cell cringing at the blood he saw dripping from his mouth. "You're making a mess." Disappearing, he got a box of tissues and a plastic bag and a bottle of water, reappeared and tossed them in the cell. "If I'm going to talk to ya you're not going to gross me out."

 

Xion smiled back at Axel, then looked back at Riku. What was she going to say? That she wanted her memories back? That she wanted to know what she had to do with Kairi?

 

"Some power blocks us from this world, Larxene. Well off to our castle then."

 

Larxene nodded, flicking her knives out, to reach inbetween her fingers. "After you, Superior."

 

Xemnas returned himself and Larxene to the castle. "We must decide what to do with our prisoners now."

 

Riku opened the bottel of water and drank it greadly. Next he grabbed the tissues and started to clean his wounds. The boy looked at Axel, and Xion. "You have questions? Well, then I have answers."

 

Larxene felt a presence below. "Superior, Axel and Xion are here." she said, keeping her knives out.

"What happened to me?" Xion finally asked, holding Axel's hand for comfort. "Why do I need to join with Kairi?"

 

"Relax, Larxene. They won't attack. Unless there's something I'm unaware of?"

 

Riku looked away. "Not my favortie topic, but whatever. The reason is becasue... well...I think becasue Kairi has two nobodies. Namine is one, and your number 2. You were a mistake."

 

Larxene shook her head. "They are questioning the prisoners superior. I think there are some answers Xion and Axel had best not know."

Xion shook her head, thinking she misheard. "I'm a mistake? Kairi can't have two nobodies."

 

"You may be right. Let's go. Ladies first." Xemnas said to Larxene.

 

"Have you ever looked at yourself closly, and conpared it to Kairi?" He took another swing of the water.

 

Larxene smiled, bowed to Xemnas, then raced down the stairs, acting on instinct. She slammed into Riku, pinning him to the floor, and pointing her knives at his throat. "Not another word." she whispered.

 

Demyx leaned against the wall only to feel the presences of Xemnas and Larxene. "Superior you're back," he hid the journal and the secret scroll of Xemnas's writings behind his back. "I kept an eye on the prisoners while you were gone. "Where did you go Larxene?" He eyed Axel and Xion out of the corner of his eye. "I see you brought her back."

 

Xion shook her head, covering her ears. "I'm not Kairi's nobody, I'm not a mistake." she whispered.

Larxene smiled at Demyx from over Riku. "We ended up not going anywhere." She said, keeping an eye on Riku.

 

Riku's face made contact with the cell's wall. "Fat chances, b*itch. Axel, take Xion and run!"

 

Xemnas walked in and smiled at Larxene viciousness. "Riku, have you been doing? Xion, you been looking over the boy?" Xemnas looked at Deymx. "You done well gaurding them Demyx. Good job."

 

Xion shivered, backing away. Xemnas was here, Xemnas was here.....Her mind raced as she looked for a way out.

Larxene shoved her knives harder against Riku's throat. "I wonder what would happen if Xion died." she whispered to Riku. "What would happen to Kairi?"
