A Scattered Dream

Axel comforted her by placing his hand over her shoulder and began rubbing it. "It's okay. I 'm not going to let anyone hurt you now. You have my word. He can't be trusted and that includes Riku. If they catch you they will only have you join with Kairi and I am not going to let that happen."

 

Xion looked up at Axel with wide blue eyes, then hugged him tightly. His words made her feel safe, really safe, but afraid for him too. She wouldn't let anything happen to him. "You have to care for yourself first." she murmured.

 

Axel accepted the hug as he meant what he said. He would protect her from anyone who wanted to take her away from him. He did however caught her mumuring about something. "What do you mean by that?"

 

Demyx with his hand now touching the metal flooring, had his palm face down and he kept feeling for anything at all. He then felt something smooth and pulled his arm up hanging onto a what seemed to be a journal. "Oohh... These look like the boss's notes of research," he turned the page and saw a picture of Ansem. "That must of been the boss's heartless and sure he is ugly," he flipped through the other pages and giggled when he read some of the more personal entries. "I didn't know he liked to do that?" He chuckled at this one entry that read the boss's personal thoughts of the floating heart of Kingdom Hearts. "If you love it so much why don't you marry it," he laughed holding the book close to his chest as he lay on his stomach reading more of it with his feet dangling in the air.

 

Xion hid her face, then hesitantly said it again. "You need to take care of yourself first. It would hurt me more if I lost you, but I was still here."

Larxene pressed down on Riku's chest. She wanted to leave, and go hang out with Demyx. "Message clear, little man?"

 

"No, I don't think so." riku grabbed the nobody's foot and swung her so would hit that wall.

 

Larxene yelped, curling into a ball at the last second so the impact wouldn't hurt so much. It still jarred her, making her gasp. She fell to the ground, coughing.

 

Riku stood up, and stood over Larxene. "Go die, you stupid nobody."

 

Larxene grinned, then swung her feet out, aiming to trip Riku.

 

As he kept reading Xemnas's thoughts page after page, he held his finger in place as a bookmark before spotting something else in the hidden area. "Now what is this?" Sticking his hand down again, a old dusty scoll of a language was inscribed on the work that he couldn't see for it looked to be like plans and symbols and scribblings of different drawings of the heart, heartless and the creation of nobodies. "Man what is taking her so long?" He got up from the floor and portaled to the dungeon with the items in his hands.

 

Axel was still confused over Xion's statement of what she just said. He lifted her chin up to have her look at him. "Can you please explain of what you mean by that? Are you saying that someone is out to hurt me?" he asked wanting to know what she might be hiding from him.

 

Xion looked up into Axel's eyes, searching for any emotion. "Diz lost contact with Riku, but he was going to tell him that you needed to be taken care of." she whispered. "He said you were going to keep me and Roxas from fufilling our purpose."

Larxene heard Demyx coming, and rolled away from Riku, wincing as her bruised ribs hit the floor. "Now you're in trouble." she hissed.

 

Xemnas appeared in the room of nobodies and keyblade weilders. "Well, well. Good job. I see you've all been busy while I've been dealing with matters." Xemnas said to the organization members.


Sora stood up. "Riku! Kairi! Anybody! Where are you!" Sora screamed to the sky.

 

Larxene got up, trying to hold her ribs without seeming too obvious. "Thank you, Superior." she said, bowing slightly. "Demyx caught them and brought them here, asking me to assist him."

"Larxene, you want to go have some fun?"

 

Larxene nodded, showing no hesitation. That was how you survived. "You know I do." she glanced at Demyx, then away, showing no emotion.

 

"I'm sure there's a world that needs more darkness in it. Shall we?" Xemnas openned a portal.

 

Larxene nodded, looking back at Demyx one last time. "I'll come back." her look said. Then she stepped through the portal.
