A Scattered Dream

"I.." what was she going to tell him? That she couldn't move, and was once again a liability? That her best friend was being consumed by darkness? "Please help Sora!" sh called, struggling to sit on her own.

 

Axel stopped his fight with Terra as he immediately went to Xion's aide. His expression on her as if she was crazy. Sora was their enemy and wanted to kill them off and make sure they could not get what they lacked. "What? But he is our enemy." Axel was confused now. "Why should I help someone who wants to kill me?"

 

She looked up at him with wide blue eyes. "He's my friend." she said simply. She knew Axel wanted to open up Kingdom Hearts, but she knew the second it was, she would die.

 

Xemnas was surprised. "You have a death wish, don't you child?" Xemnas said to Xion. He began to shoot Sora again with even greater power.

Sora smiled at Xion. He began screaming again from the seering pain.

 

Axel didn't know what to say about this. He didn't think that the friend thing would get to him, but for some reason he thought of Roxas. Even though Roxas wasn't there with him, he knew it was the right thing to do. However, there may be a consequence, but if he were to say anything he could find a way out of it. "Fine....but don't tell anyone and I am only doing this for you. " He replied in a soft whisper. He concentrated with his power and healed him.

 

Sora felt a sunden feeling. His pain slowly passed away.

Xemnas was stunned. "Where did that come from?"

 

Xion smiled slightly, watching him. She slid her eyes over to Xemnas, watching him warily. If it came to a fight, she would defend her friends to the death.

 

After the deed was done Axel causally walked away and starred at Sora as if wondering what he was going to do next. He was feeling a bit guility now because it could mean big trouble for him if the he was found out.

 

Xion struggled to stay sitting up. She slowly reached down and felt her legs. Where her fingers touched, she could feel nothing at all. Her eyes filled with tears of fear. She was paralyzed, she realized.

OOC: Have to head out, I'll be back tonight!

 

Axel turned to look at Xion as saw how weak she was. "Xion....." He panicked letting her rest on his chest. By instinct his body began to warm trying to give her some of the warmth. He didn't want her to die.

 

"No matter young keyblade weilder. I'll destroy you now." Xemnas shot Sora with many energy bolt rapidly.

Sora grunted from the impact of the hits. Sora was defenseless.

 

Demyx disappeared out of the circle and joined Axel and Xion. "Axel did you just do what I thought you did?" he raised an eyebrow at him and saw Xion on his chest. "Ok what did you just do?" he looked to be where Xemnas was before speaking to the older member.

 

"Demyx, welcome. Take care of the others while I deal with the keyblade master." Xemnas continued to damage Sora.

 

Terra stood there and looked at Sora. "Why you b*stard!"

 

"I can't feel my legs." she whispered. Xion was scared. If she couldn't walk...she might as well die. She was useless.

 

Axel was hesitate by what Demyx was saying to him as he tried to turn his back towards him, but knew he needed to face him. "I did someone a favor." He answered as he began to heal Xion with his heat the best that he could do.

 

Xion winced as the vertebrae in her back crunched, pulling itself back together. "I don't think you can fix a crushed spinal cord." she whispered, smiling despite the tears in her eyes.

 

Axel stopped what he was doing thinking that he was hurting her. "Well, okay Demyx has the power of healing. If you have any sore muscles i can heal those with heat." He offered.

 

"Not really unless you count my water to be soothing. I can't align her spine Axel," he said sadly looking down at the ground. "There has to be something I can do?" he paced back and forth.

 

Axel sighed as he tried to think of a way to make the pain go away. He had watched movies where he had seen people dislocate a part of their bones and then another person pressed hard enough and placed it back in place. "I am not going to let you die." He concentrated and did exactly as they people did, pressing her back hard.
