A Scattered Dream

Sora struggled against Axel. "Then I have a question." Sora flipped back. "What are you gonna do once you get a heart?"

 

Riku looked at Sora. 'What is he thinking? That can't be asked right now.'

 

Axel kept his eyes in alert as he noticed Sora struggling against him as he temperarily lost sight of Riku. His guard was not down though as he skeptical with the words from the young boy. "I....don't know....there was something about Roxas, but I guess I will find out if that ever happens." [/B]He replied as he forced Sora back as he was ready to use his fire just about now. He hesisted guessing it would be too easy. He would rather play with them first.

 

Sora wondered. "Is the answer in me? Since Roxas is my... what could Xemnas be planning?"

 

Noticed the Axel was busy with Sora, he swung at the nobdy. "How them apples?"

 

Axel noticed that Sora was busy asking him things, but he could relate that the key blade wielder was right. "I don't know....." He began to let down his guard and think about it, but he thought that perhaps the key blade wielder could be trying to get answers out of him, "and if he were, I am not going to tell you. You are not Roxas." He replied as he lunged at the key blade that Riku was swinging at him.

 

Riku blocked the attack easily. "You have to do better then that."

 

Axel smirked evily as he heard the reply of Riku and forced him back. "Oh I am just getting started," he whisked his chakrams aggressively at the younger boy as flames danced around the edges of his weapon and began to slowly spread in a pattern its flickers licking until they were encased in a huge ring of fire. The wall of flames was not high enough so if they chose to escape he would let them, but he was going to follow through the ends of the world if he needed in order to protect Xion. "BURN BABY!" He let his weapons go as like a boomer rang they clashed with the keyblades.

 

Riku tried the best he could to block the next attack but one hit his leg. "AHH!"

 

"Riku!" Sora blocked the on coming chakrams as they whirled toward him.

 

"I'm fine, Sora. I'm fine." He held up his hand to show he was fine.

 

Sora nodded to Riku. Sora readied to attack.

 

"Sora no!" Riku got infront of him. "Right now, he's stronger then us. We'll have to train."

 

"Alright, but we can't just leave Xion. We gotta take her with us."

 

Riku scooped her up in his arms and ran off. "Come on Sora."

 

Sora waved over to Kairi. "C'mon we gotta go!" Sora turned to Riku. "Where will we go?"

 

Axel didn't like the sound of that as he quickly blocked them of going anywhere to run off with his fire flaring dangerously. "You leave, then I will follow you wherever you are. Is that what you want? You tempted me to start this battle. The reason I am fighting is because I want to keep Xion safe from the both of you." "Axel warned putting his fire wall higher to get his point. "Don't try it, give up, but I won't let you take her with you."

 

"Damn it." Riku mumbled under his breath. He soon started to sweat. "Sora take Xion, and go. I'll take care of hothead here."

 

Axel chuckled in a dark tone. "Is that smart? What would you do if I took Kairi away from you would you like that?" He watched both of the boys scrambling for a plan as he knew they both cared for her. He brought his chakrams back to him as he only flicked them right back out again except this time they were relentlessly attacking. "Don't make me trap you in my fire of death."

 

Appearing from the corridors of darkness, his errrie void appeared bringing forth a young man from the twilight of darkness. Assuming Xemnas was no where in sight, Demyx watched the battle from above and witnessed Riku call to Sora for him to take Xion. The melodious nocturne could not let that happen as in an instant he altered his friendly personaility to that of a dangerous and serious one, his eyes now slanted and narrowed to slits. In the blink of an eye, after summoning his weapon, his portal formed over in front of Kairi as he seized her. Being taller and more muscular than her, he stood behind her, his one arm wrapped around torso and one hand gripping his weapon holding the three razored pointed sitar to her neck. "Surrender Xion or she dies!" He gentely nudged the center blade to her throat poking her neck to let Sora and Riku know he meant business. He kept his eye on for the look out for Xemnas to make sure he didn't interfere. Axel was free to take on Riku relentessly if he chose now and that Kairi was being held as a hostage.
