A Scattered Dream

Xemnas burst into the room. "Demyx! You will aid me in stopping Xion or you will fade into oblivion. Now we must control her." Xemnas looked at the 2 nobodies, wondering what the answer would be.

 

Xion stood up from the bed on shaky legs. She jumped at Xemnas, slashing with her keyblade. "Leave him alone!" she shrieked.

 

Xemnas shot down Xion with darkness. "Do not toy with me child."

 

Xion gasped as the darkness filled her with cold. She dropped onto the floor, shaking uncontrollably. She wasn't meant to take this, she wasn't meant to. She was so cold, but she wrapped her hand around the keyblade tighter, then threw it at Xemnas.

Demyx didn't know what else to do standing there like a statue being forced to choose. "Why are you doing this boss?" he asked kneeling down to her picking her up once again holding her close to him. "Can't you see she's afraid for her life of you just as I am?" he whimpered his lip quivering.

 

Xemnas knocked the keyblade away. "Demyx, will you aid me or branded a traitor? She must either sit in a prison and atone for her disloalty or be eliminated. If you refuse I will have the full authority to destroy you as well."

 

Xion couldn't stop shivering. It felt like ice was in her veins, spreading through her body. "Give me up." she whispered, chattering. "I'll be dead soon anyway."

 

Looking away in disgust, he whispered to Xion. "Forgive me." Having no other options, he extended out his arms and handed her over to him feeling guilty in the process. "That was the hardest thing I had to do."

 

Xemnas summond 2 dusks that took Xion back to her cell. "Well done Demyx. You made the right choice."

Sora flew the gummi ship to Twilight Town. "Hopefully we can find someone who can help."

 

Xion shivered. She didn't dare sleep, but.....Her mind refused to let go of consciousness. She hurt all over, and her body was so cold. Sleeping now might be deadly. Whatever that darkness was, it made her fingers burn.

 

Axel had witnessed the whole display, but he kept to himself as the dusks had placed Xion back in her cell. He didn't want to see her like this either, but what other option did he have? Walking up to the boss he saw how depressed Demyx was and scolded the younger member. "You finally do the right thing after it nearly costs you your life. You need to be punished for your act for it will teach you not to do it again" he gripped his hand and handed him over to the boss. "Demyx needs to learn his place again," he stood in front of him making sure he couldn't get away.

 

"My thoughts exactly Axel. And you will be the one to do so. Axel, punish Demyx, that's an order."

 

Xion felt fear. She sat up straight, shivering harder. She got up quickly, and ran to the cell door. "Demyx!" she screamed, trying to open the cage. She tried to summon the keyblade, but she was too weak. "Axel, no!"

 

Axel smirked opening his mouth with glee, a sadistic look in his eyes. "Of course. What would you like me to do and would you like to watch? It would be best if you did witness to see the pained expression on his face. Besides hurting him another displinary action should be taken. How about putting him under castle arrest and confining him to the grounds. Since he feels so bad for Xion, he her accomplice should have to be treated like her. This castle and this world will be his prison just as it is Xion's."

 

Demyx placed both arms out in front of him in disbelief. He was felt he was being treated like a child. "No that's not fair. I was just doing what I thought was right. You might as well spank me like a kid and ground me ," he rolled his eyes acting all starrtled when Axel gave his suggestions. "I know I'm going to get the nothingness power and who knows what else, but confining me to this castle? That's harsh!" He covered his mouth realizing he was in no place to talk back. "Now I am acting like a kid or a out of control teen," he uttered.

 

"Do as you wish to him, go crazy. I would enjoy seeing him come to see what he does when he disobeys me multiple times. After you do so, lock him in the lowest floor in Castle Oblivion."

 

Xion threw herself against the door. Something crunched in the door, and she tried again. It flew open. Must still have been a little weak from Demyx's work. Her shoulder hit the floor with a thud, and she winced. Stars danced before her eyes, but she paid them no mind. She got up, wobbling slightly, then ran, tripping, and finally running into Axel, almost knocking him over. "Stop!" She was so cold. She couldn't feel her fingers anymore. She slipped to the ground, almost overcome.

 

Demyx waved his hands frantically and shaking his head vigourously stomped his foot like a kid having a tantrum "No! You can't do that to me. Axel has fire and that's not good for my element. Please just ground me instead. I don't want to be maimed by him," he whailed falling down to his knees. "Boss please reconsider," he groveled on his knees to Xemnas. "Don't do this," he cried out.

 

"What's your thoughts on this, Axel?"

 

Axel picked her up, his movements quick and harsh sending her into the arms of a bunch of dusks once he heated her body up with a touch of his element not wanting to set her on fire. "Xion I'm ony following orders," he peered down at Demyx with disgust at his pathetic attempt to call off the punishment. "As for you, I believe humilation is best." He answered the boss's question. "I don't want to do the same ole thing that I do with my enemies," he lifted up his chin and slapped him in the face after revealing a small flame bringing it close to the tail of his cloak, lifting it with ease offering him no protection if the flame ignited onto the lower half of his body."Show me your fear and beg for forgiveness to the Superior now!"
