A Scattered Dream

Xion tried to stop crying, but once the tears started, they just wouldn't stop. She curled up tighter, trying to stay quiet. The last thing she needed was for Xemnas to hear her and take advantage of her weakness. The cell seemed to be growing colder..

 

Demyx had blacked out a bit from being drawn in to Xion's emotions. She was a lot like him. He hated to see her down in the dumps. There had to be something he could do. Overhearing Xemnas and Axel speak in the other room, he snuck past unnoticed and made his way to the cell, his hands gripping the bars. "Xion? Xion please talk to me," he reached his arms out to her to come close to him.

 

Xion looked up, hearing her name. "Demyx?" she whispered, moving closer to him. She was ashamed that he would see her crying, but her need to see him overpowered that. "Are you okay?" she whispered, grasping the bars in her hands. It was soo cold...

 

"Yes Xion except for seeing you like this. I got to get you out of here somehow, but I don't want to get hurt again by the boss. I'm already in big trouble with him as it is," he rubbed her hands, sending forth his element upon her hands warming them with his stream. "Hopefully this helps," he smiled wishing there was something else he could to assist her.

 

Axel had sensed Demyx's presence from the cell and sent four of his assassins to keep an eye on the melodious noturnme. If he dared to do anything then Axel would be forced to retaliate. One of them however, had some food for her to eat as he reached through the bars and gave it to Xion.

 

Xion smiled a little. "I'll get out of here, somehow." she whispered. She tensed as some of the nobodies approached, but one offered her food. She took it warily, and discovered chocolate, her favorite. She ate a little of it, then set the food aside and moved close to Demyx again. "When I do get out of here," she whispered, keeping her voice down, "I'm never coming back alive."

 

Demyx refused to believe that. He shook his head at her sudden outspoken words. "No don't say that Xion. I refuse to believe that. You can't possibly be serious," he held her hand into his own.

 

She smiled sadly, gently squeezing his hand with hers. "I mean it. Once I get out of here, I would die rather then come back." Freedom, so hard won, was even harder to keep.

 

Xemnas watched as Demyx talked to Xion. "Let them dream useless dreams. Once Kingdom Hearts is finished, we will be whole again. And we will have no reason to deal with the keyblade weilders."

 

Xion closed her eyes, feeling exhausted. "You better go, Demyx." she whispered. "I don't want you to be blamed for my escaping."

 

(OOC: I'll be back in a hour or so. I'm going to put highlights in my hair real quick.)

Demyx opened his mouth slightly and shook his head. "I can't just leave you like this. It's not fair. Why can't you just accept your life as a nobody like I do? You should not have to be treated like a prisoner in your own home Xion. There has got to be something I can do?" he thought and then an idea came to him. "I know I could try melting the bars with my intense water pressure and steam. Stand back!" Using his powers he begun his task not knowing Xemnas was lurking and so were lower nobodies.

 

OOC: Fun! Be careful!

BIC: Xion stepped back, pressing herself against the wall, so the intense pressure woudn't hurt her. "Demyx, no." she whispered, but she was unable to stop him.

 

Xemnas snapped his fingers and 2 dusks appeared. They latched onto Demyx's arms, stopping him. "Why are you so attached to her Demyx? If she fades she'll be nothing but a memory. You are testing my patiance and I'm in no mood for this."

 

"Leave him alone, Xemnas!" She pushed against the door, but it wouldn't budge. "I made him do it. Let him go!"

 

Xemnas sent the dusks away. Xemnas waled up to the prison cell. "You are finally understanding. Betrayl will only bring destrucion. You will be free soon if you keep this up."

 

Xion clenched the half melted bars in her hands. She had never wanted to hurt anyone more in her life. "I don't care what you think. I will not be your pawn, and I will not give you Kingdom Hearts!"

 

"Oh, you will. Your life depends on it. You think Demyx and others you know will just let you die? You will serve us or sit in this cell forever. But if you help us, after Kingdom Hearts is complete you will be set free."

 

Xion glared at him, then summoned the keyblade. She pointed it at the door, unlocking it. She burst out of at and jumped at Xemnas, slashing downward.

 

(OOC: Yeah it is fun, but now I have to wait for it to set in 20 mintutes and then wash it out. Currently I'm on the forum using my time wisely, until I need to wash it out. I will be off and on today like normalky Iam.)

Demyx had previously glared at the dusks for gripping him so harshly and he made sure if that happened again he would end their lives. He was indeed a member of the organization and was higher then any lower nobody. He clenched his teeth when he witnessed Xion slash his boss with her keyblade. Groaning and moaning out loud, he picked her up in his arms and ran out of there to the safety of his room. "Xion! What were you thinking? He could of destroyed you!" he scolded her and then apolgized for raising his voice to her.

 

Xion looked up at him, letting the keyblade disappear. "I will not be used. Not again." she whispered. She began looking around for a window, or something she could use to get out of here. "I need to leave. Please, Demyx." She looked up at him with sorrow in her eyes. "Where can I go?"
