A Scattered Dream

Axel was calmly not letting his temper get the best of him as he did his best to ignore the words coming out of Sora's about Roxas. "He would never desert me EVER!" He carefully observed the situation seeing that Demyx was fighting Sora. Xion seem upset, but there wasn't anything the male nobody could do about it since Sora already attacked one of their own. He lunged forward and knocked Sora back hoping to have him fall on his back. The chakrams flashing dangerously in his wake.

 

Xion's eyes flicked to Axel's, and she dodged forward at the same time, his attack knocking her backwards. She twisted, trying desperately to roll before he accidently ran her through with his chakrams.

 

Demyx jumped away letting Axel have his crack at the keyblade wielder. His eyes full of impish delight dissolved into a horrifying stare when he saw Xion had been run through by the blades of Axel's chakrams. "No! Why?" He saw the gory display that made him swallow like he had a huge lump in his throat. Turning violent he directed the blame to Sora. "This is all your fault. If you didn't get involved none of this would of never happened."

 

Sora prepared for the attack. He watched as the chakram hit Xion. "Xion!" Sora ran to her.

 

Xion grimaced, then smiled, holding herself in place. "I told you to stop." she whispered, one hand keeping the chakrams in place.

 

"What's wrong? Remove the chakram if you can," he was shaking all over and was trembling of what would happen to her. He had to think of something or else she was going to bleed to death especially if he removed the chakram since he didn't know how deep it was.

 

Xion shook her head. "I'll bleed out." she whispered, trembling in pain as she held it in, her head bowed. "Just leave it.....just....stop." She looked up, smiling, then cursed quietly as it slid in deeper. Stop moving...

 

It was like a fast reaction that couldn't have been avoided and now guilt and horror was running through the red head's head. He did not expect Xion to get in the middle of this and now she was going to die because of him. "Xion!" he cried out though he held his head away so as to not let her or anyone else see liquid about to form. He wondered why she was hanging on to the chakram as if she wanted it deep in her. He had lost Roxas and now he was going to lose his other friend. "How....deep.....is....it?" He asked softly as he was thinking about pulling it out if he could. Of course this would end the fight with Sora, but at what cost. He looked at Demyx and could see him quivering. "Don't do that." He said again in a soft tone.

 

Demyx bite his lower lip and tried not to panic, but it was difficult not to especially seeing Xion in the way she was in. "Oh man Axel. We have to do something. She needs medical attention."

 

Xion shook her head. "Just..." Stop panicking, just leave me alone so I can pull this out... She winced, keeping her head lowered, and took a deep breath. "Turn around. Please."

 

Sora watched in dismay. "Xion! No!" He held onto her. "Xion. Please hold on."

 

Demyx shook his head and was scared what would happen to her if she were to lose more blood. "No if you pull it out she could lose more blood. Even I know that," he glared at Sora and clenched his fists trying to control this angry feeling that was coming on from his own memories when he was human at one time.

 

Axel still had his chakram clenched and looked at Demyx and Xion. "We have no choice. Only I can control the chakram. If I let it go it might engulf her. I will just close my eyes. Once she pulls it out, I will make it disappear." He did just that and was thinking of all kinds of horrible things befalling on him. "Please....don't....die!" The chakram wielder wanted to break down, but his pride was keeping him from doing that.

 

Xion inhaled quietly. "One....two....three." The last number came out as a small scream as she pulled it out, then pressed her hand against the wound, her eyes closed. "I'm sorry."

Xemnas appeared behind the Nobodies. "A pity. She could have been a great help. Oh well. Too bad."

 

When Demyx saw the blood he cringed and fell ill as he quickly turned away so not to see the sight. Spotting the boss, he only starred at him with blank and sad eyes, his fake feelings pretending to show through. He waited for a word from the Superior before he spoke and held his head with his right hand.

 

Axel noticed that the chakram had vanished once it was taken out of Xion's body. "Xion, why did you do that? Is there anything you need?" He asked his eyes seem to be beeching anger as of now. He knew that Xenmas was around, but he needed to know how Xion was. "Sora, this is your fault!"

 

Xion kept her eyes closed, managing a smile. "I'll be okay..." she opened her eyes, her face turning pale as Xemnas appeared. "Sora, run away." she whispered, her eyes wide with fear.

 

Xemnas chuckled. "Do as she says. Run, Sora, run." Xemnas sent a group of Heartless after Sora.

Sora darted away and yelled back to Xion "I'll come back for you. I promise!"

 

The melodious nocturne just watched Sora dart off and stood there not knowing what else to do. Becoming numb he shook his arm and tried to remain strong at the sight of Xion he was seeing. He would not dare show any means of emotional distress, afraid of what Xemnas might scold him for that.
