A Scattered Dream

Sora just stared. "What should I do, Xion? What do you think we can do to help each other?"

 

Xion shook her head, glancing back. "I don't know how long until they come, and I don't know what happens if you die, and I'm alive. I don't know a lot....but you're my friend." She smiled again, this time gentler. "The only thing that is certain is that my skin can't touch yours, or...something happens."

 

"Well that means we can still be together. Which Organization members are with you?" Sora would fight them and keep them away from Xion.

 

Xion looked up at him, slightly nervous at the direction this was taking. "Demyx and Axel. They should have been right behind me, but I misdirected the portal. They'll be here any second."

 

"Will you come with me, Xion? I have to fight them. Once that'a done we can leave. Is there anyone you know that you can trust?"

 

She rubbed her arm, thinking. "Those two are my only friends besides you left. I have no one, nowhere." she said this in a factual tone. "I have always been on my own."

 

"Well, we should go before they get here. Come on." Sora started walking toward the Great Maw.

 

Xion hesitated. "Sora....." she didn't know what to say. How could he trust others so willingly? She slowly followed him, uncertain.

 

Sora turned slightly. "Hmm, what is it, Xion. You got something on your mind?"

 

Xion smiled a little, watching him. "Is it easy, being you? The Keyblade Wielder and all. I mean...I'm just extra."

 

Sora chuckled. "Well, maybe not easy. But I do enjoy being me. I really relised this when Riku told me something a while ago."

 

Xion walked a little faster, catching up with him. "What did he tell you?" she asked curiously, her head looking down at the ground. She tucked her hair back behind her ear.

 

Sora halted and look at Xion. "There is one adavantage to being me. Something you can ever imitate. Having you for a friend." Sora kept walking. "That means you too can't ever imitate me, Xion."

 

Axel stepped out of the portal right in front of Xion with Sora. He shrugged his shoulders at his other comrade as he saw their brunette spikey haired enemy with their friend. "It looks like Sora took her away from us some how. However, we were instructed to eliminate Sora. Now is our chance." He turned his attention to the keyblade wielder. "You can't take care her away from us. Haven't you done enough damage already Sora?" The red head glared menacely at Sora.

 

Xion opened her mouth to reply, then stopped, her eyes wide. "Axel...." she glanced from one to the other, her head spinning. Damn, what could she do?

Sora quickly turned. "Axel! Leave us alone!" Sora summoned his keyblade. "Why are you here?"

OOC: Night. See ya later.

 

Axel saw Sora's keyblade and only smirked at him as the flurry took a step closer. "You stole her from us and we want her back. I am not going to let her disappear because of you existing." His narrowed eyes seem like they had flames in them as he summoned forth his chakrams.

 

"I'm not going to let Xion disappear! You hear me?!" Sora raised the keyblade. "Where's Xemnas? Where are my friends?"

 

Axel scoffed as he didn't believe Sora one bit of what he was saying what was truth or not. He would never tell Sora where Xenmas was hiding. "How should I know? I don't go around targetting everyone that you are connected with. All I know is that I am not going to risk you being around her." He was going to wait for Sora to make the first move then the flurry would follow suit.

 

Sora knew Axel knew something that was going on. The Sora remembered. "Axel, you're friends with Xion. But there's another you're friends with. Best friends, Roxas. Would Roxas want all this. Since we have a similar likeness I think he wouldn't approve of this."
