A Scattered Dream

Axel noticed that Demyx was not with them and he sighed as he dragged Xion back with him towards where Demyx and Larxene were at. "Xemnas wants us to deal with Sora." He replied.

 

"Fire? No wrong element. Water you could say I have the strength of the fury of a storm inside me," Demyx quiped as he shot his comment back to her. The water weilder wasn't expecting Axel to come after him and so he walked right past him. "So why do we have to deal with that brat again?"

 

Axel cocked his eyebrow about hearing the word fire, but he decided not to press anything about it. "Simply because Xenmas said so. I think he wants Sora destroyed. That won't be a problem." He folded his arms as he looked back at Demyx.

 

Xion couldn't stop shaking. Sora...destroyed... her blue eyes watched Larxene, keeping track of her every move. "Demyx move!" she yelled, grabbing Axel and yanking him back.

Larxene waited, then lashed out, striking with her kunai when Demyx's attention wavered.

 

"Huh?" But he was to late, for Larxene was quick as lightning and had struck him before he could react. He fell on the ground holding the side of his shoulder where he had been injured.

 

Axel was surprised at this and saw that Xion was holding him back. Either way he wasn't going to let Larxene hurt any of his friends. He slashed at Larxene violently with his chakrams. "What the hell is your problem?" He growled his eyes more narrowed and deadly than ever.

 

Larxene skipped back, glaring malevolently at the girl. "You'll wish you hadn't done that." she murmured, her eyes sparking. "How much longer can you last if the benefactor of your whole being is dead?" She slashed under Axel's chakrams, ducking.

 

Axel shifted his weight so that Larxene would miss him completely when she tried to attack him. "I don't care what you think. You seem to be attacking the wrong side. Sora is the enemy not us. Unless that is what you want? This jealously issue is really not your thing Larxene." He answered throwing his flaming chakrams at her again.

 

She flinched to the side, though not quite quick enough. The fire singed off one lock of pale blonde hair and gave her a small burn. In reply she threw one kunai at him, and dogded to the other side. "Who says I'm not just tyring to have a good time?"

 

Axel ducked the kunai as he rammed his chakrams into her free kunai hand so that now they were locked that way. His weapons against her weapon. "That is not your style. You always have an vendetta and I want to see what it is."

 

Larxene smiled, her eyes still sparking, then leaned forward and brushed her lips against his cheek, letting the electricity flow between them. "I'm sure you're smart enough to figure it out. Kill the girl, and have some fun with her."

 

Axel seemed to feel the electricity going through his system, but he only starred at Larxene. Was she flirting with him? "She is not the enemy Larxene. Just because you don't like who she is doesn't mean you can force us to turn against her."

 

Larxene smiled sweetly, then unlocked her kunai, flipping them back and forth between her fingers. She needed him nice and confused. "What if I'm only trying to save us from being destroyed? That thing," she pointed at Xion, "isn't a Nobody. Maybe we can make her that way."

 

Axel watched Larxene's antics as she flipped her kunai around her fingers. It was almost an inticing offer, but he would stand by his friends. "I already know that, but the boss gave her life. That has to be a reason for that. Or else why would he even introduce us to Xion?" He asked. "Even she became a nobody she would still look like Xion right?" He questioned as he was very unsure himself.

 

Larxene kept smiling. "I dont' know. Nothing like her has ever been created. She might even be a guy as a Nobody. Not unlike you." Turning, she walked to the edge of the building again, smiling down at the people.

 

Axel cocked an eye brow and surveyed the people as well. He already knew that she was an creation or even a clone. It didn't bother him. They were still friends, though he couldn't understand what Larxene was trying to save them from. He knew that Xion didn't want to fight Sora and she said that she would die if she touched him. So the connection must have something to do with the keyblade wielder. Either way he needed to know more information. "What are you talking about? What do you mean unlike me?" He crossed his arms.

 

Larxene smiled back at him, then turned to face him. "Don't you remember your somebody?" she asked, slowly putting her kunai away. "Maybe I'm wrong, but....I know I'm not stupid. And I'm willing to do what needs to be done." She flicked one kunai at Xion, and another at Demyx, for the sake of entertainment, then fell backwards off the building.

 

Holding onto his arm, he clenched his teeth upset that he had been struck by her. Avoiding the kunai that she flicked at him, he watched her fall backwards off the building and shook his head. "Geez what the hell was that for?" He yelled after her not knowing if she heard or not. "You're not going to get away with hurting me like that Larxene." He stayed where he was and was hurt as he did his best not to scream out for that would only hinder his recovery.

 

Xion trembled, gently pulling the knife out of her arm. She pressed her fingers to stop the blood flow, closing her eyes. "You guys can just give me up, you know." she murmured, trying to smile.

 

"Xion! Stop saying things like this," Demyx turned his face away from her. He couldn't stand it when others felt sorry for themselves and wished for death to come.
