A Scattered Dream

"No she is not going to die Larxene!" Demyx yelled at her. "Xion is going to remain here with those who care about her." He hung onto her like she was his little sister.

 

Xion shivered, holding tight. "Axel's got her. For now." Suddenly her eyes widened. "Demyx, duck!"

 

Demyx did as he was told being careful not to drop her when he ducked. He stayed down until he knew it was all right to rise to his feet once more.

 

Axel growled at Larxene and lunged forward once again. "You keep saying that, but you don't give any answer. Tell the damn truth of what you know!" He pinned her on her back holding his chakram at her neck.

 

She grinned, her eyes wild with electric energy. "I could show you. It might sting her a little." Before he could do anything else she released the energy she had been holding in, making an electric shockwave, half of which she sent to Demyx.

 

Xemnas walked in. "Enough! Stand down, all of you!" He looked with disgust that the members we bickering amongst themselves.

 

Demyx felt the current and he did his best to withstand the electrical current that was coursing through his veins, but his element was water and it was a conductor so it was making it worse. Grippping Xion, he refused to let her go, as he screamed out, hoping the shock would end soon. He had not noticed Xemnas, for he was distracted with this painful dilemma.

 

Xion clung to him, feeling the electricity go through her, making her limbs go numb. "It'll be okay." she whispered, her eyes closing with exhaustion. Don't go to sleep, don't go to sleep, don't-she fell into the inky blackness that awaited her mind.

Larxene waited, seeing if Axel would let her up or not. Her attack would have affected Demyx more then Axel, but it should have affected him some....

 

"Oh no Xion! Axel is going to kill me if you don't wake up," he coughed and gagged after experiencing that shock and trying to hold himself together. Using his element which was a mistake on his part, he touched her chest hoping to wake her up with a jolt from the electricity that was still flowing and circuting in his water.

 

Xion jumped, her eyes snapped open. "I'm sorry, I fell asleep, didn't I?" she whispered, fighting the inky blackness again. "Let's please get out of here."

 

Axel noticed the presence of Xenmas and only half listened to him. "Not until I find out what the hell is going on?" He did not let Larxene up though the flurry himself had felt the shock through his system as well. "I want answers and you better give them to me," He was getting fed up with the lightning nobody right now.

 

She sighed, running her fingers along his chakram. "Such impatience." She grinned impishly. "I don't think I can reward that." Her eyes sparkled with electricity, and she grinned. "Maybe you should check on Xion. I wonder how her poor little body is holding up."

OOC: I just noticed the colors we're writing these characters in are complete opposites.

 

(OCC: Yep I noticed that as well.)

Axel shook his head as he knew that Xion was safe with Demyx. Larxene wasn't going to do anything to weasel out of this. "Fine, I will give my answer, if anyone completely lost control then I would kill them only if there was no hope of saving them," He sent a little movment to his chakram a small bit, but a little faster and he could cut her hand off. He wasn't letting her out of his sight. "Now, you explain yourself, Larxene," He held it firmly against her throat knowing she had no choice now. If she tried anything to get away she would seriously hurt herself if not maybe kill herself.

 

Larxene grinned. "You may have to make that choice soon." she commented, leaning back and crossing her arms over her head. "So. I was experimenting on Xion by injecting her with certain poisons. Her body will begin to shut down sometime soon, and we will all be safe from her little antics."

 

Axel glared at her menacely growling slightly. He wanted to be beat the living crap out of her, but only refrained knowing only she had the details of the events. "What do you mean we will be safe from her antics? You aren't making any sense! You said that she isn't nobody can you tell what you mean by that?" His temper was rising somewhat, as there was more this than he thought there was.

 

Larxene shoved the chakram away from her, cutting her fingers in the process and glaring. "She's just memories. Just like Riku Replica. She will die." she hissed, balling her hands into fists, despite the pain. "Either that or go insane. Those are the only options left her, that's why she wanted me to destroy her. She knows what's coming."

 

Axel seem almost in disbelief over it, but in a way it did make sense to him. "What? How is that possible? Can you give me any info of where she came from then?" He noticed that Larxene did in fact cut herself, and was trying to remain strong, but he could sense where the hatred was coming from.

 

"I've given you enough. You should learn from your mistakes, Axel. Making friends does no good." she turned and ran down the hallway, grinning despite the pain. Job well done.

 

Axel glared deadly at her as his eyes formed almost red in them. How was he suppose to give her the benefit of the doubt if Larxene was with helding information? "Larxene, just tell me or I will have to kill you," He replied his voice sounding like vemon.

 

Demyx readjusted his hold on Xion, formed a portal with his hand and ran through it. He dashed through the Corridor of Darkness and came to Twilight Town on the other side. He figured they would be safe there.
