A Scattered Dream

Xemnas smiled and glarred at the Replica. "This is fun, but I have things to do. Try not to get into too much trouble, boy." Xemnas disappeared into a warp hole.

 

Xemnas appeared in Castle Oblivion. He went to the top floor. "Even Marluxia isn't at his post. Guess I'll have time to visit my friend." Xemnas then teleported off to Hollow Bastion.

 

Riku sat back down on the bench and doze off again.

 

Xion groaned, moving to rub her head, then realizing she couldn't move her arms. "What....." her vision blurred, and she fainted again.

Larxene tossed the needle onto the table, grinning. Such useful things, medications. They hurt people and knocked them out. She sat in a chair. It would start soon enough.

 

"So do you have to come with me and rescue Xion or do you want to try to find Roxas?" Demyx was nervous as he figeted with his fingers. "I can't believe this happened. We were all eating and then Sephiroth shows up and now this? What are we going to do Axel?"

 

Axel started pacing around a bit. Perhaps Sepiroth was the interference to separate Roxas and Xion again. Then again why was always those two? Because they were their weakness and the enemy knew that. Axel sighed as he summoned his assassins to go haunt down Roxas. "If you find Roxas inform me," he told them as they nodded their head and then left. The flurry turned to look at Demyx. "We will find Xion first since we have an direction to look for. I failed to keep Roxas safe and I have no idea where he would of gone. So Xion is priority as of now. I am with you Demyx," He summoned a void.

 

Xion started twitching, her hands clenching. Xion could feel fire...fire was burning through her. What..... Something was very wrong. She looked up to see Larxene grinning maniacly. So that was it....she screamed, the fire burning through her chest and into her head.

 

Terra and the apprentice were evenly matched. the fight was taking its toll. "what's.....wrong...?" Terra taunted
"n-nothing..." the apprentice smirked under his armor.

 

Demyx nodded and entered the void that Axel had conjured up. "All right. Let's go get her." The void led them back to their home. Demyx wandered through the vast halls and headed upstairs. "Xion? Xion where are you?" His footsteps echoed throughout the castle as he headed up another flight of stairs.

 

Axel followed afterwards though a tiny bit of guilt was holding up on him as he wasn't going after Roxas. Though he knew that his assassins were looking for the younger member. He ran up the stairs as well, not losing sight of Demyx.

 

Larxene measured out a small bit of medicine, and injected it into Xion's arm. "This medication will ease the pain, for a few minutes. It also has a rather....bad side effect." she smiled as the terror grew in Xion's eyes. "It also ensures you won't be escaping me."

 

"Axel she is not answering us," Demyx became very worried as he played with his fingers. "Where do you think Larxene has her this time?"

 

Axel thought for some time and then looked at his partner who was waiting patiently. "I am betting that she is in her room. Larxene wouldnt' keep her in the dungeon after all," He ran up ahead of him.

 

Xemnas returned to the castle. He walked down the hollowed hall thinking to himself. He stopped and stared up at Kingdom Hearts.

 

Xion whimpered as the numb feeling spread. It was scary....this new feeling. She couldn't move her hands, or her legs, but she could feel what was happening to them.

Larxene sighed, then kicked the small girl, making her cry out again. She smiled. "Ready to talk now?"

 

"All right so let's get her then," Demyx caught up with Axel and reached the upper story of the castle. He looked for Larxene's door and waited outside of it hearing the conversation that was going behind the door.

 

Axel stood next to him and listened as well. They needed a plan and barging in wasn't going to solve anything. Axel had to make certain that Larxene wouldn't hurt Xion if he were to just rush in there with Demyx at his side.

 

Larxene sighed, then walked over to the table. "You are such a stubborn child. Do you think any of them would miss you? They don't care about you." She was playing on Xion's fears, and she could see it was working. "Now tell me what you saw. I'll make all the pain go away if you do." And she would, in a manner of speaking. The syringe glinted in her hand, held behind her back. Enough sedative to keep Xion asleep forever.

 

Demyx gasped as he nudged Axel in the ribs gentely. "Larxene is going to hurt her if we don't do something. Axel if you don't have a plan I'm going in whether you like it or not," he whispered harshly.

 

Axel pulled Demyx back as he shook his head. "We need some kind of distraction," He then snapped his fingers allowing a dusk to go in the room. He smirked knowing that Larxene would want to know what that was about.
