"Well he's not here right now which is good so you're safe." He touched her shoulder and then held her close to him. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you."

 

Axel was surpised that Sepiroth was gone and that Xion was safe with Demyx, but then with all of the confusion he had lost sight of Roxas. "Oh great, Roxas!" He darted around looking for him. He wouldn't forgive himself if something happened to him.

 

Xion nodded, closing her eyes. "It's okay. I'd rather he hurt me then you.." She heard Axel calling for Roxas, and felt tears come to her eyes. She wouldn'tbe able to find him this time.

 

"Oh please don't say that Xion. You shouldn't think like that." Demyx shook his head. "I need you to be strong for me okay?"

 

She slowly nodded her head again, barely holding back tears. "He's not gone." she whispered.

 

"Xion I wish there was something I can do to help you, but I'm not sure of what?" He held both of his arms up and shrugged them.

 

Xion smiled slightly, brushing the tears out of her eyes. "Go comfort Axel?" she murmured, looking at him. "He's really upset."

Demyx nodded and left Xion to herself. He located Axel's presence and appeared before him. "Hey is there anything I can do to help?" He knew Axel was upset and he hoped everything else was all right.
