A Scattered Dream

Axel grinned sly as he watched and then he saw Roxas almost choke on his food. "Whoa slow down man. I don't want to see you choke. Just take your turn," He replied. He glanced at Demyx. "We are going to go eat Sea Salt ice cream afterwards, I hope that is okay with everyone."

 

Roxas took his friends advice and slowed down a bit. He chewed carefully, hoping that he wouldn't swallow a huge chunck of beef and choke. He looked at Xion, smiling slightly. Then he looked at his other two friends across the table from him.

 

OOC: I used to, but Leon's story was going no where and we needed to get Xemnas into the picture. Don't you already have 2 characters?

 

"Great. I just hope the boss doesn't show up because I'm really enjoying the break from him." He got up from his seat and stretched his arms out.

 

Xion shivered slightly at the mention of Xemnas, then smiled at Roxas. "You guys need to learn manners." she muttered.

 

Cloud agreeingly shook his head "yes that is true Xion"

 

Axel rose his head and looked at Cloud one of Sora's allies. Even so the red head didn't feel like fighting and he was spending a good time with his friends. "Huh? When did you get here?" He turned towards Demyx, Roxas and Xion. "Was he here before?" He asked. The red head had hoped he was not losing his mind.

 

Xion was taken aback. She hadn't felt him arrive..."Cloud. What are you doing here?"

 

Demyx stared at Cloud in disbelief. "Huh? I didn't know he was here? How did he get here?"

 

Axel saw that Cloud was unresponsive as he shrugged his shoulders and continued to eat the rest of his meal. He was done with his chow mein and was now muching on his shrimp as he dipped them in cock tail sauce. "We should come to chinese places more often,this food is so good," He smiled at the others.

 

Demyx grinned glad that Axel liked the food. "Oh I know what you mean. We should try the different dishes here too."

 

Roxas kind of jumped when he heard Cloud's voice. He blinked a little, glancing over his shoulder. Well, at least he isn't causing trouble for us. He looked down at his plate. It was empty now. He smiled slightly, taking a napkin and whiping his mouth off.

 

Axel noticed Roxas jump a bit, but remained calm. There was no problem worrying about Cloud as long as he wasn't causing any problems. He acknowleged as he was now finished with his food. "Okay, just tell me when you guys want to leave so we can get some ice cream. Oh and Demyx I will keep that in mind," He answered as he stretched a bit.

 

Demyx stretched out his arms as well and yawned. "Glad to hear it Axel. I think I ate to much which is why I feel so tired."

 

Xion smiled slightly, then looked up at Cloud with piercing eyes. She didn't know if she liked this.

 

"You just noticed? Ive been standing here for a while" said cloud with ambition

Axel almost rolled his eyes as he got up from his seat. "So shall we all be off or do you want to sit here still?" He asked the others. He didn't realize Cloud was standing there the whole time. Perhaps he was in the shadows. Cloud was a silent one.

 

Roxas nodded his head, standing up slowly. He left a tip on the table, glancing slightly at Cloud. He watched him warily for a moment before stepping over to Xion a little. What ever Cloud wanted, Cloud wasn't going to get it that easily.

 

"Fine let's go." He opened up the void of the darkness and stepped through. "Next destination Twilight Town for Roxas's ice cream. Come on Demyx and Xion."

 

"Coming Axel." He gentely took Xion's hand and took her to the portal with him. "What about Cloud though? Does he want to come for icecream too?" Demyx was friendly to everyone except to Sora and his groupies.
