A Scattered Dream

Axel looked at Roxas searchingly though with concern he wondered if anything was bothering him at all. "Hey, what is on your mind?" He asked. He observed Xion's answer and was confused with it. "Let me get this straight. You said you will keep your promise to Larxene, but what about the rest of us? We can't have her killing you because you are a threat to her. So if you tell us we can protect you for her."

 

Roxas glanced up, listening to Axel talk to Xion. So many things were happening all at once, and most of it took place while he was gone too. It made him so... mad. He kept silent, waiting for Xion to speak up.

 

Xion sighed, looked down. "I sense emotions, or fake ones...whichever. I know what you guys are feeling, unless I block it out. I want this.....curse gone. I hate it. Its why Larxene wants to kill me."

 

Riku shoke his head. This was hopeless. nobody had seen Sora. A few people had but they were no help at all. He had run off to the cayon. 'Mabye he had gone to Leon's instead.'

 

Demyx gripped his right hand. "But Xion we don't want to lose you and there is nothing wrong with sensing emotions may they be fake or not. The important thing is that you're here with us," he took her hand into his own. "Axel, Roxas and I will take good care of you."

 

Xion smiled slightly, holding his hand. "I trustyou three." she murmured.

 

Sora arrived into the marketplace. He looked around and caught a glimpse of Riku. "Riku!" Sora ran over to his old friend. "How'd ya get here man?"

 

occ: Riku's not in the marketplace anymore. He's in front of Leon' house.

 

OOC: Alright. Then disregard my last post.

"Where is everyone." Sora said as he searched the town.

 

"Dude you have to eat." Demyx tapped his fingers on the table waiting for his meal to arrive. "Geez how long does it take to get what I ordered?" He complained and sighed.

 

Axel placed his hands over his face as if almost in in complete denial as he heard that Xion would keep her promise to Larxene. "You do know we are your friends and you shouldn't keep things from us. Unless you don't trust us," he added looking at Xion his eyes not making contact with her. He turned to Roxas. "Tell you what if you eat some chinese food., We will make a special trip and get you some sea salt ice cream," He smiled at him knowing it was Roxas's favorite and if he turned that down there was something wrong with his younger friend.

 

Xion sighed, looking down at the table. "I would keep a promise to you. She's no different from the rest of us."

 

Roxas looked over at Axel, smiling slightly. He nodded his head a little, picking up a menu. He listened to Xion, but really didn't know what to say. Axel and Demyx had total control of this.

"But she was trying to kill you so how does this make any sense?" He shrugged and looked down at the ground. "And when will my food get here already?"

 

Xion grinned. "Guys and food." she murmured, shaking her head.

 

"Well I need my energy. Finally!" He watched the waiter serve him his meal. "I don't know what took so long, but I'm starved." He began chowing down.

 

Xion smiled, taking small bites of her food. She watched other people thoughtfully, thinking.

 

"Where the hell is my food?" Axel hollered at the waiter, but he was content that Roxas was looking at the menu. The waiter came back and served him his food without saying a word. "No tip," he muttered under his breath and began eating his chow mein.

 

Roxas found what he wanted and then ordered his food. He sat the menu down, laying his head on the table. He breathed out through his nose, looking at the table top while waiting. He was a patient guy.
