A Scattered Dream

Roxas shook his head. "Answer us, now!" Roxas took another step forward, standing the side of Axel and close to Larxene. His keyblade was posed and ready to discharge the magic.

 

Larxene shook her head, then grabbed the keyblade, wincing as it burned her. She grabbed Roxas, thinking quickly.

 

Roxas nearly cursed at himself for being so stupid. How did she get past Axel's weapon anyway. He wrentched his elbow back to try to his her rib cage and not the wind out of her. "Let go OF ME!"

 

With a angry strike of the strings of the sitar, the water got Larxene in the face. "You forgot that I was here now didn't you?" he smirked making sure Xion was still holding his hand. He squeezed tigher. "I'm going to make sure nothing bad happens to you."

 

Larxene spluttered, but didn't let go. She held one of her knives to Roxas' throat. "You, or her."

Xion closed her eyes, holding Demyx's hand tightly. What to do, what to do...

 

Roxas stood there, glowering. He got trapped with Laxerne. He had to find a way out of her grasp and fast.

 

Larxene grinned. "I get you, or Xion. How about the group decides, so no one feels left out?" she smirked.

Xion felt like Larxene could sense her fear. She shivered, hiding more behind Demyx.

 

Axel growled as he saw that Larxene 'had somehow had got past his chakram' and got Roxas. "Let him go, I mean it or I will just kill you right where you stand." He gritted his teeth his anger getting the best of him. Thinking quickly he grabbed the book that Larxene had and held it to his finger with the fire flaring dangerously. "Let him go or I will destroy this book."

BIC: Larxene shrugged. "That's Hades' book, I just stole it. Feel free to burn it."

 

He held on tighter to Xion's hand reassuring here that everyting would be all right. "Larxene why are you doing this?" Demyx got her wet again, making it even harder for her to hold on to Roxas. "Don't make me drown you."

 

Larxene held on tight, pressing a knife agianst Roxas' chest a little too hard. She sighed, then loosened her grip, feeling the knife plunge into his cloak.

 

Roxas gasped out, feeling a sudden pain in his chest. He gasped for breath, but only made the pain worse. He couldn't stand upright anymore, and felt his knees buckle from under him. He was gripping the knife that was dugged into his chest, panting heavily.

 

"Roxas!" Demyx summoned his dancers that began to beat up Larxene kicking her hard in the butt as he rushed to get Roxas still holding on to Xion. "Roxas you're going to be okay. Here drink this," he remembered he had some potions in his cloak that were an elixer and an ether as he forced them down his throat. "Larxene what the hell is wrong with you!" He pulled out the knife and covered the wound with his gloved hand applying pressure to it.

 

Axel shook his head pushing back tears, as his rage set on him and summoned his assassins to attack Larxene. "You wicked monsterous demon," He knew that Roxas would be okay since Demyx had the potions with him. His fingers snapped sharply placing the book on fire and appeared right by Larxene and threw the book right into her cloak. He felt the flames burning her now. "ROXAS!" He yelled out.

 

Larxene stood motionless, simply smiling, despite the pain. "I always keep my promises."

Xion closed her eyes tightly, trying to get the horrible picture out of her mind. She kept seeing it, over and over.

 

Roxas winced slightly, choking on the potions. His mind was a tad bit fuzzy, but at least he knew he was in good hands. He took slow, even breaths, trying to calm himself down enough to relax. At least his friends were here for him.

 

Xion knelt beside Roxas, checking him over. "It'll be okay." she said calmly, though inside she was raging.

 

Axel lunged at Larxene hitting her hard in the back of the head. "What do you mean you always keep your promises?" He growled.

 

Larxene smiled, wincing, then aimed just right, throwing a knife at Demyx and Xion, then falling into a portal.

 

Demyx deflected the knife with his sitar as he bounced off and hit the ground below. At least Roxas was feeling a little better. Now that the bleeding had stopped he removed his hand and washed it off with his hot water sterializing any germs from it.
