A Scattered Dream

"Go rest everyone. Sora won't bother us for a while."

 

Hearing that, Roxas's body decided to go along with it. His keyblades unsummoned from his hand, and his knees buckled from under him. His body decided it held up long enough and collasped.

 

Axel sighed in relief and went back towards the others and then his eyes showed great horror as he saw that Roxas had fallen on his face. "Okay guys we can......Roxas!" He ran over to him and lifted him up carefully.

 

"Sorry..." Roxas murmmered. "I'm just... really tired." He flashed a smile at Axel to let him know that he was okay. He wasn't seriously injured, just worned out. All he needed now was a good nap and he would be on his feet again.

 

Relieved that Roxas didn't hurt himself. He looked at him, Demyx and Xion. "Okay then, lets get out of here." He picked up Roxas to get him to his feet and then opened a portal for all of them to follow. "Where would you guys like to relaz at?"

 

Xion sighed, keeping her head down as she followed. She didn't know what to say or feel. She was either going to just run, or collapse in a heap and cry.

 

"Xion are you all right?" he asked her noticing that she looked like she was going to have a break down. He kneeled down at her side so they were facing eye to eye.

 

Roxas slowly looked back at Xion too. He never seen her this sad before in his life as a Nobody. "Are you okay, Xion?" he asked quietly.

 

Xion looked at him, then away. "I'm confused." she murmured, rubbing at her eyes.

 

Demyx knew exactly what she meant. "Confused? Welcome to my world. Do you sometimes get headaches too?" he chuckled softly.

 

Xion nodded slightly. "Bad ones." she murmured.

 

Axel seem more confused than the rest of them. "Did you guys hear me? I said lets go somewhere out of this place." He grabbed Roxas and gently pushed him to the portal as he went to do the same thing to Demyx and Xion.

 

Demyx took her hand and helped her up. "Let's get something to eat so we can clear our mind of everything that has happened.

 

Xion smiled, holding his hand trustingly. "C'mon, Roxas, Axel!" she said.

 

Roxas walked through the portal slowly, looking behind him once in a while to make sure the others were following him. So many things happened in so little time, it overwhelmed him. At least everyone was getting a smile on their face now...

 

Xion sighed, rubbing her temples with one hand. "Why do I feel so short?" she asked Demyx.

 

Axel was in the portal as well. A little annoyed as the others had ignored him of what destination they wanted to go towards. Shaking it off he waited for Demyx and Xion. He turned towards Roxas asking the question again. "Roxas, which place would you like to eat at?"

 

Roxas's stomach growled. He looked down at it, and laughed a little. "Any place is good to me, just as long as I get something to eat... And maybe I should get a new cloak..." He looked down at it again.

 

Axel shook his head. "There is no need for a new cloak. I wil just fix it for you." He gently let his hand inches from touching Roxas tattered cloak and began to use his heat to fix and alter it for him. "There, now it is good as new."

 

"Because Axel and I are tall," he joked and patted her on the back. "Don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll grow more."
