A Scattered Dream

Demyx gasped when he did see Xemnas and felt foolish that he had not noticed him before, but his mind was focused on Xion and now that he had discovered Roxas was here, his total mindset was only set on helping them. "Ok I see what you mean," he softly said to her. "Just play along and what ever you do trust me ok?" He stood back up and looked at Roxas. "We should get you cleaned up. Xion you need rest don't you?" he winked at her slightly trying not to give away his postition in helping them.

 

Xion smiled,then nodded. "Yes...then we can plan how to take over other worlds."

 

Roxas listened to the both of them. He felt very relaxed with these two. They were protecting him... He closed his eyes slowly, feeling safe around them.

 

Demyx nodded glad that Xion was following along with his game. "That's it Xion. Now you're speaking the boss's language," he grinned at her. He looked at Roxas and made a bottle of water appear for him to drink. "Here drink up dude," he tossed it to him.

 

Axel had noticed that both Xion and Demyx were gone. He was confused with the whole thing. He didn't know what had happened, but he only starred at Kingdom Hearts with deep hatred he did before hear Xemnas voice and then everything else was a blur. He wondered where they had gone and left him alone. He was too upset to make a portal and look for them."It is your fault, first you took Roxas away from me and now Demyx and Xion." He went over to the Kingdom Hearts and entered it, hoping to destroy it within.

 

Xion stopped, her face a mask of horror. "Roxas...Axel needs help. Demyx....please...take care of Roxas..." she handed Roxas to Demyx then ran through a portal. "Axeeellll!!"

 

Roxas snapped his eyes open again. He stood up shakily, taking the bottle of water that Demyx gave him. He was starting to feel a little better now. He turned to see Xion head through a portal. "Xion!"

 

Xion turned slightly, hearing her name, then tripped. "Roxas?"

 

Axel noticed the vortex inside Kingdom Hearts with the silver and grey swirls and scoffed as he kept going through it. The heat was getting hotter, but he was immune to it. "Take this! You mesmorizing time bomb!" He summoned his fire and began burning the inside of the heart. It would take a while to cause alot of damage, but for all he knew the heart was at fault and needed to die.

 

"Axel! No!" Xion ran towards him, tripping. Her foot had fallen asleep. "Axel..Roxas, he's alive, he's back."

 

Roxas gathered up the bit of strength he had and followed through Xion's portal. He appeared where she was and stood by her. He really didn't care about his tattered cloak at the moment. He looked around, wondering where he was... He felt Axel's AND Xion's prescence though.

 

Xion looked back at Roxas. "You shouldn't have followed me!" she scolded, going over to him. "This could hurt you..."

 

Axel looked at Xion. "Where the heck were you and Demyx? What! Roxas is back? Are you sure?" He seem to smile as he picked her up carrying her out of the heart. He thought that he sensed other presence, but he couldn't tell yet because of the confusing swirling seem to almost make him dizzy. All he could do is see a shadow.

 

Roxas stumbled forward, catching himself, clutching his left arm. "It's alright, Xion, I'll be fine." The voice he heard earlier. He knew it was Axel's voice. He looked up as soon as he got far enough. He could see him... sorta kind of. "Axel..."

 

Axel immediately put Xion in a portal. He had heard another voice and knew that the shadow that he saw before was someone he knew. "Stay in there until I come back," he assured her and left it open so that he could go see who was calling his name. As he came closer walking towards the shadow he noticed that it was in fact his lost best friend Roxas. He was stunned at first just starring in disbelief, as not believing his own eyes, but when he eyed the tattered cloak realization had brought him back to joy. "Roxas!" He ran up to him and hugged him.

 

Roxas gasped a little in surprise from the sudden impact. He opened his eyes a bit and realized he was being hugged. "Axel..." He smiled a little, then winced slightly. "Good to see you too." He didn't let the pain dampend his day. He slowly let a smile come on his face.

 

Axel relented his hug as he didn't want to hurt Roxas that he was already. "It is good to see as well. So where the heck have you been?Other people have told me that you joined with Sora. Come on give me some details." He was really happy that he had found his lost friend.

 

"I got stuck in an alternate world for a while... a world DiZ made. He took my memories away until I found a fault spot in the 'paradice'." Roxas quickly flashed a smile. "Sorry it took me so long to get back." He let out a small nervous chuckle. He was just so happy to see Axel, Xion, and Demyx again. He missed all three of them a lot. Mostly Axel though. Axel was his first friend in the Organization. He still clutched his arm, trying to ease the pain.

 

"A alternate universe? Similar to a certian place. I heard that Diz wanted to keep you away from us for some reason. I am glad that you got free from it. Let's get out of this place. You tell us all about when we get back to where Demyx is." He led him gently towards the portal. "Who did you get into a fight with?" He asked in worried voice as he couldn't believe that Roxas had to fight his way to get free from the world.

 

"Heartless... lots of them," Roxas sighed out as he said the sentence. "And with some past memories DiZ made up from my mind..." He tried to remember exactly what happened, but it was sort of fuzzy. He brought a hand up to his head to ease a headache that was settling in.
