A Scattered Dream

Xion looked through the darkness, trying to find a way to Roxas.

 

Roxas's eyes fluttered open slowly. He sensed something heading his way. "Xi... on...." he whispered. She was coming... His whole body by now was soaked from the rain, he could feel it. And he was also reminded of the pain that pentraited through his whole body, even his head. He shut his eyes tightly, waiting for the episode of pain to go away. So many memories flashed in his head all at once, it was too much to bare.

 

Xion ran through a portal, seeing someone lying on the street. Due to Magick's nonimagination, she ran over and picked him up wihtout despriction. "Roxas!"

Roxas opened his eyes again. Xion was barely visible to him. He felt so useless right now and so weak. "Xion....?" Roxas was making sure he wasn't dreaming. Was this really his friend that came to him? Or was it somebody else...

 

Xion dried off Roxas' face with her sleeve, smiling sadly. "Yes Roxas, its me." She remembered everything...she wasn't sure if the rain was making her face wet, or if she was crying.

 

Roxas breathed out in relief, smiling weakly. "Sorry... I left..." His voice croaked from the exhaustion he felt. He winced as another wave a pain shuddered through his body. "I'm so glad to see you...." He opened his eyes half way, looking up at her. Then he saw something that puzzled him. "Are you... crying....?"

BIC: Xion laughed, hugging Roxas close to her. "I'm glad you're back." she looked around for some place that could take her to a hiding place she remembered.

 

Xemnas appeared behind the 2 young nobodies. "How sweet. Thank you Xion, for leading me to Roxas. Come you 2." Xemnas extended his hand. "We have much to do."

Sora ran out of the castle and back into the city. "Where are they?"

 

Roxas continued to smile, glad that he was home... or so to say. "Where's Axel... and Demyx...." He really wanted to see them too. After all the mess that he went through... Then he heard a voice that sounded familiar. It was the Superior. Oh great... what's he going to think?

 

"Roxas, come with me. We have alot of work ahead of us. It's time to go"

Sora ran down the city streets and saw Xemnas standing over Roxas and Xion. "Xemnas!" Sora summoned his keyblade. "Get away from them."

 

Roxas tried to sit up, but he was still weak from previous events before coming back to this world. He felt his arms give way from under him and he fell back into Xion's arms. Then he heard a voice. It sounded super familiar to him. His Somebody...

 

Xion held Roxas tighter. "We're not going anywhere with you!" she said to Xemnas, her eyes burning with fear and hate. "Sora!"

 

The meloidious nocture appeared in front of Xion through his portal that he had summoned. "So..." He paused when he saw Roxas. "ROXAS?" Is that really you?" he walked over towards him shocked to see that he was there standing in front of him.

 

Roxas heard another voice. Demyx... Roxas turned his head to look at him. "Hey..." he gave a weak smile to his old friend. So many popping up at once after he got there... His cloak was tattered and torn, and he didn't look like he would stay awake much longer.

 

Xion smiled slightly at Demyx. "He's back, he's here." Where was Axel?...she shook her head, trying to clear it. "Please help me hide him." she murmured.

 

"Where have you been Roxas? Axel thought you were gone this whole time?" he questioned his friend and looked at how tattered the cloak was. "Were you in a fight or something?" He stepped in front of Xion. "What is going on?"

 

Xion looked up at him, her eyes wide and full of emotion. "Please, help me hide him."

 

"Hide him from what or should I say who?" He didn't know what was happening at the moment for the only thing that mattered to him was that Xion was safe and not in any harm's way like she was before.

 

Roxas took a staggered breath for a moment. He closed his eyes tightly, fighting down the pain. He gasped out, opening his eyes again. "You could say... I got in a fight..." He forced out the words as he took in a few breaths of air.

 

Xion looked around, then pulled Demyx down to her level. "I can't help him with Xemnas there." she whispered in Demyx's ear. "Please...I would do the same for you."
