A Scattered Dream

"Anyone who goes in there loses their memories. If you go in there twice....your heart loses itself." Larxene watched Xion. "She is making a choice. When the moon hits the center of the room, she will die."

 

Axel and Demyx entered the room as well. Looking around espeically. "What the hell is going on?" He asked Larxene. He figured that she might know what was going on.

 

"What? No! Xion, dont do it!" Sora yelled. "Why is she doing this?"

 

Larxene shrugged. "Her heart will open Kingdom Hearts, then. She always had one, deep down, or she would have remembered everything." Larxene walked away, heading toward the stairs.

 

"But, you'll just let her die so you can have a heart?"

 

"I didn't make her do it." Larxene called from the stairs. "Her choice. Roxas was lucky." With that she disappeared up the stairs.

 

"Roxas? Hey! Don't you leave! Why would she choose this fate?! Larxene! Aaahhhhh!" Sora yelled. He grit his teeth with frustration.

 

Xion wobbled, her eyes wide and confused. She knew that voice...."S-Sora?" she asked, her head pounding.

 

Sora kneeled down. He began pounding on the ground. "Is there nothing I can do?"

 

Axel was more confused than ever. "What? Explain yourself Larxene?" He ran after her. "Tell what is really going on." He stopped her.

 

Larxene sighed, looking at Axel with something close to sadness. "If she doesn't come out of the room in the next five minutes, she's going to die, painfully. Her heart will be crushed." Larxene turned. "You best say your goodbyes."

 

Axel couldn't believe this was happening. Is this what Xion really wanted. He was going to lose other friend after all. Not knowing what else to do, he went over to Larxene and hugged her as he was feeling depressed and was letting his emotions get to him. Such as no hard feelings. "Fine, I will go say goodbye to her. What is that room anyway?" He replied.

 

Larxene shrugged again, surprised by the hug. "It doesn't have a name. It's a portal to Kingdom Hearts." she turned to go to "her room." "Roxas was lucky. At least he didn't suffer."

 

Demyx listened to everything that was said and he he paniced knowing there had to be another way. "What? Why would she do that?" Demyx was surprised by the lastest news from Larxene. "She's going to commit suicide. We can't let her do that. We have to stop her. I don't want my heart if she is going to die," he ran past Larxene knocking her over accidently and bumped into Axel. Pushing Axel aside he would apologize later to him. He had to get to her before it was to late. Warping to the World That Never Was, he saw the portal that led to Kingdom Hearts and without thinking ran through it.

 

Xion stumbled, falling to the ground. She almost screamed; the floor pulsed, like it was breathing. "What now?" she whispered. Her headache got worse slowly.

 

"No I got to stop this. I can't let her die," he saw what was happening to her. "Xion don't do this." He yelled to her.

 

Axel past Larxene and teleports to where Kingdom Hearts is. "No I'm not going to lose him to," Axel seized Demyx by his arm. "Get out of there!" he pulled him back not wanting to lose his other friend either. "Xion why do you want to kill yourself?"

 

Xion pressed her hands to her head. The headache kept her from thnking quickly. She looked up, her blue eyes wide. "A-Axel? Demyx?" she tried to remember something important, but it kept slipping past her. "Why are you here?" she whispered, closing her eyes.

 

"I don't want you to sacrifice yourself just so we can get our hearts. I don't want mine if it means your demise," he tried to run towards her to stop her from what she wanted to do, but Axel was holding him aganist his will. "Axel let go of me. We can't this happen to Xion," he whined and began showing tears. "Xion please get out of there!" He screamed at the top of his lungs reaching his hand for her to grab.

 

Xion's eyes widened slightly, and she wrapped her arms around her chest, breathing shallowly. "I don't want you to see this...." she murmured, trying to catch her breath.
