Kingdom Hearts II A Roxas Timeline?

I keep playing, and watching the videos, of KH2, but I cant seem to puzzle it out... especially watching videos from the Final Mix here on KH.vids has really gotten me a little baffled. Maybe you guys can help me.

If Roxas and Sora merged together near the beginning of the game, then how is it that Roxas can talk to Axel? From my understanding, DiZ wiped Roxas of his memories of the organization and put him in the simulated Twilight Town in order to restore Sora's memories quickly, and to throw of his pursuers in the Org. If that is so, then what was Namine's meaning when she said something along the lines of: If Roxas doesnt find out about his Org. self, something will happen to him -- if she's restoring Sora's memories, then why does Roxas's memories of the Org. matter? And how is it that Namine is in the hands of Diz and not the Org, as per in Chain of Memories? Is Diz "working with," the Org. members (obviously falsley) in order to learn their ways, or is he truly a seperate entity... uggh, so confused. Also, how is it that Roxas fights Sora in the corridor between Twilight Town and The World That Never Was -- again, even if they were no longer merged, didnt Roxas lose those memories when DiZ put him in the simulated Twilight Town? Wouldnt his only memories now be of his fake alias that DiZ created? I have a lot of questions, and Im hoping you guys can answer me... at least give me a rough outline, not only for my own sake, but... I'm also trying to write a story -- er, fanfic -- and that would be MOST helpful.

well~ I could not help since I got the same questions such that how can Axel have the conversation with Roxas when they both have vanished???

 

I can answer one of those things though, Namine is with DiZ because Sora saved her from the organization... Don't know more about the FM+videos though^^;

 

the convection maybe occured before they vanished...... i mean like they wouldnt do the last convections then would they??

 

easy.in Kh2 Roxas gets his memorys back before the fight with axel.and sora has most of those memorys.so sora saw those memorys as if he was roxas....i think

Sora turns into a Heartless - Roxas is made - Roxas joins the Org - Roxas meets Axel - Sora reaches Castle Oblivion - Roxas meets Axel - Sora fights up Castle Oblivion - Sora kills Marluxia - Roxas and Axel talk in the FM+ Scene - Roxas quits Org.

It's not that hard to figure out.

I know by going on like this in vain, I'm going to sound like I'm as dumb a a lump of bricks by disputing your idea, but obviously, at least I'm not the only one... You wrote that Roxas leaves the organization as the very last thing -- but I thought that was a flashback. How could he leave if he was already a part of Sora, and as the game seems to vaugley outline, he lost those memories -- or rather, had them erased -- by DiZ when he was in Twilight Town?

Perhaps they simply havent revealed enough, or I'm making this more complicated then it seems. For that, I apoligize, if need it be. Perhaps you could explain further.

Real Deal- After Axel met Roxas in T-Town and Roxas regained his mem., Roxas went back to sora. However, Axel could still talk with Roxas' conciousness from within Sora, as Axel states in one cutscene. But their connection was limited, and Roxas and Axel lost communication. Probably forever.

 

That makes sense; but with limited interaction, as you've pointed out, how would Roxas then be able to fight with Sora? And... why? Is it because he doesnt remember his Twilight Town alias and giving himself up... er, meshing, with Sora?

 

I think that chat between Axel and Roxas occurred just before Sora met Hayner, Pence, and Olette. They are mentioned... something like "I'd like to see them again". And I think that was the last time Axel talked to Roxas. Then he was kind of fully assimilated into Sora. Or something like that. :P

And also, as for the confrontation between Sora and Roxas, remember that Donald and Goofy couldn't see him? And since TWTNW seems to be some kind of in-between world, such a confrontation would probably be possible. In the KH2FM videos, Xemnas says that Sora meeting Axel might have awakened Roxas.

 

Sora turns into Heartless - Roxas is created - Xemnas gives Roxas his name - Roxas joins Org XIII - Roxas meets Axel - Sora gets to Castle Oblivion - Namine helps Sora regain his memories for a year - Roxas decides to leave Organization XIII to find out how he got Keyblade - Roxas fights Heartless - Roxas and Riku team up to fight Heartless - Roxas and Riku fight - Roxas loses - Riku in his darkness form gives Roxas to Diz - Diz makes Roxas' fake memories and fake Twilight Town - The Six Days - Roxas defeats Axel in the fake world - rejoins with Sora - blah blah Organization XIII and 1000 Heartless Battle - Twilight Town 4th Visit - Sora and Axel fight Nobodies - Axel dying and has a conversation with Sora's subconsious Nobody 'Roxas' - In TWTNW Roxas tests Sora - Sora defeats him.

The End.

 

Oh my, This is very confusing...

 

Im guessing this happens in Chain of Memories or, adversly, between KHI and KHII? Is it in Reverse/Rebirth, or simply between the lines? I certinally dont remember it.

from what I know, roxas was like dormant in sora. When Axel died, that triggered roxas to kinda wake up from inside, and I'm guessing roxas wanted control of their body, or maybe just to fight sora, but regardless, axel's death triggered roxas's reawakening, and thus faught sora. With the scene after that, with roxas talking with Axel, I think, personally, it was a memory clash. It was what was left of Axel talking with what was left of Roxas, and they had one final conversation. At the end, roxas was going to be dormant again, but still be existing as pointed out by namine at one of the last cutscenes. Roxas then said his goodbye to Axel, since he is really dead, and things returned to normal. Does this help at all? Sorry about no paragraphs.

 

Uh, i think that we'll know about such stuff when kingdom hearts:358/2 days comes out.Who knows?It can even be a conversation from there.

 

Basically right there is what 385/2 Days is about.
I wouldn't say Roxas rejoins with Sora immediately. It is more like he awakens his Somebody.
It is actually the third visit.
