Kingdom Hearts II A Riku centered game?

Well, I could see another game revolving around Riku. I like to think that maybe he had dreams about the Keyblade when he little. I'm also thinking that Riku will have some sort of indirect impact on Terra's story BBS, like more than a cameo, but not quite a main character either. Same with Kairi. Maybe even Pluto will have a role explaining his mysterious powers.

 

I know I would love to see one made, if only for a change of pace. A sequel that stars Riku could still include flashbacks to exactly what he did during KH2, or it could revolve around it entirely. And if what we did see of his story is any indication, a Riku-centric game could easily deviate from the hack-and-bash-save-the-world that we're used to and be something more intellectually challenging. I could even see a game following him in KH2 being like an espionage. Infiltrate... the enemy fortress... TWTNW...

 

I think that while it would be cool to see what Riku was doing half the time, it would be difficult to make a whole game about it.

How about this- in KH3 (Which is inevitable) the player can switch between Sora, Riku and Kairi?

 

Dude, guys... Coded is about what was happening with Riku and Mickey in KH1, in the Realm of Darkness, and in KH2.

 

Not really, We do see what Mickey has been doing during part of the game, but the story mainly follows Sora's story in KH1 and KH2.

 

That would be awesome, there should also be a mickey game, actually no, that would suck

 

I guess that we only see parts of his story, after all R/R is only his story through Castle Oblivion, so I would like to see more of him.

 

It'd be really interesting to see more about Riku's side of the story, his story is a lot more ... realistic, gritty etc than Sora's.

 

Definitely! I loved using Riku in RE:COM and I thought it was sort of a rip off that there wasn't really any accompanying storyline. (I dunno maybe that's just me) I do hope that one comes out eventually.

it would be awesome to play and find out about his side of the story in kh and kh2

 

Riku has more badass moves than Sora, and it would be intresting for him to have his own game. It would be cool. They could even finally give him a girlfriend.

 

I don't like the idea that Coded follows the main story though, as it's only a mobile phone game, I mean, imagine getting screenshots and videos on to youtube, quality would look like a pile of shnizz.

 

Well I agree, for the amount of hype that Coded got, I was expecting it to be a better game unveiling more of the character's stories.

 

A Riku centered game O: I'd love it. He's not as whiny as Sora occasionally gets. I like Riku, because I feel he's way more human than Sora. I mean, none of us are perfect. Riku displays just how easily minds can be corrupted. I also dig how he was the villain for a bit xD Playing as him would be so much more entertaining. Plus, I bet he runs faster than Sora. -put aside the thought that in KHII he ran behind you all the time. Sora would have tripped him if he tried to get the lead -

 

A Kairi game would be WAY better.​

 

I actually think Riku shouldn't get his own game think about it hes so cool because he is a mystery if there was a Riku based game you would know everything about Riku and he would he like a used cottonball abused and thrown away. Ryota~ had a good point we know what happaned to Riku mostly throughout KH1 and definately CoM so the game would be based on his events in KH2.(which is very minor)I think Square should just focus on Sora and not even make a Riku game because then the character will become lame.

 

Kairi was at Destiny Islands or passed out half the time...

I guess it would be cool, R/R was good enough though. I think they've made enough side stories I just want to get to KH3. ^^

 

They should a game(s) that follow him through kh1 and days.
