You're playing a shooter. You're in the middle of a firefight but your current ammo clip is empty. What do you do? just reload and keep firing, take cover, reload, and continue firing, switch to a different weapon, and continue firing, RETREAT, or something else?
If the weapon I'm using is the right one for the occasion, then reload and keep on shooting. But this is just me, the safest thing to do is change weapon while keep running to take cover. Of course, the only thing you never do in shooters is standing still, especially in the middle of a firefight (you make it so you don't get in that situation in the first place!). Unless you got a sniper. :P
I'd say that Take Cover, then Reload. That way, nothing can hurt you while you need to reload and shoot those bad guys!
Moved to the spamzone. And I'd turn the game off since it's a shooter :lolface: Kidding, I'd reload or switch weapon depending on the game. Like I'd reload if it was Half-Life 2 but I'd switch weapons if it was Metal Gear Solid.
None of the above. I whip out a sword and slash the f**k out of the enemy. ^This^ Except Left4Dead. That, I will play.
