Through a political standpoint, this would honestly just make the public opinion of you dwindle even lower. Not to mention the hands of the country would be with five random people who quite possibly do not know how to run a country efficiently.

Truth will out, as you say. As the problem becomes more and more clear leadership will no longer be contain the failure and drastic changes will be forced to take effect. It is the sole discretion of those in power to determine what those measures will be. Weather it's change in leadership or restructuring the leadership system.

Hmmmm... First, I will see what EXACTLY is wrong. I will then ask the opinion of the public, and then go to my advisors to see what THEY think. I will try my best to fix everything, but if I fail, at least I tried.

What can I say? **** happens.

It depends. I believe Government should let the people work it out on their own inless it is completely necessary to step in. Sometimes, the problem is Government.

That's a tough one. I would definitely take a look at every problem the country is facing. Waiting for it to get better would be a waste of time, because who says that's even going to happen? I can't just assume things will improve if I don't do something. The solution is not going to be handed to me on a silver platter. For example, Napoleon Bonaparte definitely took the lead and made France, which was recovering from the French Revolution, into a prosperous empire. He gave it more influence and glory. His predecessor Louis XVI, on the other hand, was not a leader type (which is kind of important if you're a king), and during his reign, his country was plunged into the French Revolution (not to mention he got decapitated by his own people).

A big thing I would do is check with the people to see what they are unhappy about. Maybe I'll get some statistics, have them vote on what they want changed and what they dislike about our situation. Then I would put my all into fixing them, as long as I had the ability to do so. I mean, if my people wish for world peace, that's a little unreasonable to be placed on my shoulders, but if they want to improve living conditions or something, that's something I can do.

I would also look at myself and the mistakes I have made as a leader. I would learn not to repeat anything I have done in the past that has caused pain for my country. Similarly, I would look at everything I did right and keep it in mind. I would also ponder what I have done, exactly, to make my country not as rich and prosperous as it used to be, and perhaps look upon the tactics of past leaders.
