    short answer- no.

    long answer- not anymore but i tried it to see if the pick would work,
    i broke the strings though...
    so now i just have it on my floor and i don't plan to replace the strings now that i no longer play it any more.

    yup if you saw my last thread about it you would notice it is steel.
    i made it in class with a grinder and piece of metal.
