Kingdom Hearts II A Nobody Uncovered

After Starting KH2 on hard mode, I started to notice something while playing as Roxas.

Look closely, and you'll notice that on all nobodys, save for the Organization, is a zipper. on A Dusk, it is where the Dusk's mouth should be. on the Twilight Thorn, it is in a lot of places.

What happens when you unzip a nobody? I have a number of theories, actually:
1) When you unzip a nobody it's soul and mind come out and are destroyed.
2) The soul and mind come out, are reunited with the heart, and the person becomes whole again.
3) Inside the Nobody is actually what an unbirth is, the soul and mind of a nobody, in a solid form.

What are your opinions?

 

Only one problem with that theory. Nothing happens at the beginning when that first dusk's mouth is unxipped. And all dusk's mouths are unzipped.

 

What it symbolizes is a way for one's heart to get out of one's body. The zipper is just a way of unzipping the body from the heart. When the heart goes away, the unzipped body is left behind. Thats just my opinion anyway.

 

1) I really don't know. Maybe the zipper is just a sign of a heartless's reminent
2) Good luck unzipping those guys. =/

 

I have no idea actually. Also, if you look, ALOT of characters have zippers. I really just think that zippers are the KH-trend.

 

I don't think anything would happen when you unzip the zipper. If you remember right, the dusks unzip their own mouths and nothing happened.

 

The 'bodies' of the Nobodies may work similar to the cloaks the Organization members wear. Ansem the Wise said that the Organization cloaks were to protect them from Darkness because even they could not cope with it entirely and it might harm them. Perhaps the Nobodies' 'bodies' with the zippers work similar to that to keep them safe. What's inside, I would imagine are their souls and what remains after the Heart is taken.

 

I once saw inside a Berserk Nobody. It looked like it was just a costume. Of course no one was inside, because the modelers didnt make anything there. But the nobodies look like costume, so maybe the human is inside, nobodies are humans without hearts.

That´s a good question.

I would explain it by saying it´s because the lesser nobodies dont look like humans, so maybe the body turns into the costume and the spirit is inside like a shadow or something. The costume is made of something cool, so it can dis-/appear or go through anything.

Look at the nobody:

I think the black parts(hands and legs) are not clothing, so maybe there is an Unbirth inside the clothes. The clothes are the body and the Unbirth is the spirit?

When you open the zipper you probably will find out that:

There's NOTHING there because they are made of NOTHING in the first place...

That's the problem whit non-existing things I think...

 

Hmm...interesting theory. But, I agree with what L said. In my opinion, that makes the most sense.
